She looked to Bruiser and shook her head. "I'm not being mean, I'm simply explaining why Ally should be a little more careful what she says." she said, her tone not changing, "It's hard to be in charge of so many animals and to have them quip after everything you say."

Ally sighed, still wanting to yank the IV out. Bruiser nodded his head. "You sound like my mother now"

"To be fair, I am a mother." said Mary quietly, "So I'm not at all surprised you think that."

Bruiser tilted his head. "My mothers human." Ally pawed at the IV but not hard enough to pull it out

"I see." said Mary, looking to Elle. She then lightly flicked Ally with her tail. "Leave it." she said.

Ally glared at her. "I'd rather be sick than have this thing in" Bruiser looked at Mary then Elle. "Is there something wrong with having a human mother?"

"Nothing is wrong with having a human mother." said Mary quietly. She then narrowed her eyes. "That's exactly what makes Carter mad." she said, "It's not all about you. You're a mother now whether you like it or not."

Ally lowered her head. "Fine. I'll stop" Bruiser tilted his head. "That's good. My mother found me when I was about 2 months though"

Mary turned her attention to the tiny pup. "Do you recall anything before she found you?" she asked.
