Well, hello fanclub of the Viscetlings!

I am Fuscontidox, feel free to call me Fusc, Dox, or whatever happens to seem best ^^ I am not picky

Anywho! I just thought I would introduce my first Viscet Boris

Yes, Boris :3

He is an RU I actually just got today/yesterday x3 as I am super happy! I love coffee-natural designs, and it makes me happy that he is a simple design too TvT so I can learn to draw viscets as I go and he can be my lovely model! <3

Boris was named for the meaning "wolf" as his parents wanted to give him a name in hopes of him becoming a rather boisterous child to keep up with his older siblings. However, he took up more than just the "wolf" meaning, and also now sports well the meaning "short".

He is small for a Viscet, but he can pack quite a punch if he has to, though he tries not to resort to fighting.

He's a bit of an oddball, and seems to actually prefer taller lady viscets rather than shorter ones.

He's a people person, very active and always having some type of fun, sometimes leading to misbehavior. He likes to joke around, and pull crazy stunts, especially on his snowboard.

He always wears his red scarf when he does anything in the snow, but it doesn't seem to be lucky like he hoped, so he just enjoys it as a really stand out and bold statement of some kind.

He enjoys the snow, waayyyy more than he should. Mainly because something always goes wrong...

ALWAYS.


He might get hurt one day, feel better while relaxing inside the next, then he'll go outside again, and will end up sick the next day! His parents don't know what to do with him, and he doesn't know what to do with himself, the snow is his favorite thing ever, and it's like hers cursed to even touch it.

I'm super excited to develop him and get to be apart of this community ^#^

I want to say it's been such a blast working on these batches this past month, I can't even handle it. I'll admit, my first couple were pretty shaky and 'alright' at best, but I feel like as I went through more of them, I started to really improve. As it stands, I'm really pleased with how they've come out, and I certainly hope you guys feel the same too. So, I would like to introduce the newest member of my viscet family: Akuro!!
He is my runner up from the Halloween kitsune legendary and I honestly am in love!! Mint did such a fanominal job!!

I have ideas, so so many ideas, but here is a brief run down while I work on his story:

Appearing without notice during the night of a full moon beneath the veil of a thunderstorm, no one really knows where Akuro came from. His sudden appearance brought rumors and legends galore, but none ever gained enough proof to become fact. What is known, however, is that this night roamer is not one to be messed with. He comes off as calm and brisk in the way he talks and looks, his cool eyes are always examining everything around him
with unbreaking indifference. However, strike a nerve and these cool eyes will become quite unwelcoming. Akuro has been called a nogitsune, which is, in Japanese culture, essentially a dangerous kistune. While he may certainly not have the appearance or clear traits of a nogitsune, he certainly has the aura of one.
However, despite his cold and condisending first impression, he is not all darkness and doomsday. While he only has a few, to his friends he shows a bit more emotion. He is a good listener, but an even greater protector. Loyal to almost no end and selfless in the sense that he would gladly die before letting harm befall a friend.
He resides on the eastern, abandoned half of the world KeiNairi, so no one knows exactly where or how he lives, but it is fabled that he resides within the hollowed innards of a thousand year old tree, alone and in darkness.

He is open for relationships, but nothing serious at the moment. Right now the closest I would like another to be with him is aquatances, at least until I have his story down.

I am also seeking art of him!
I will do art trades or I can pay in CS pets, some C$, and maybe DA points ^^ if you're interested just shoot me a pm!

Here's my answers c:

1. I find everyone's artwork really beautiful so it's really hard to choose. Everyone inspires me because you're all so sweet and your art is amazing! If I had to highlight one person in particular, I would have to say that Yugi's art is really beautiful! I just love their style of shading and how they draw eyes <3

2. every trait rip Well, I have trouble drawing every mutation that's not part of a standard Viscet. T-T Viscets with mutations are very pretty, but when I try to draw them, it just.... Also, I have been having trouble correctly drawing Viscets' muzzles / noses for some weird reason.

3. Well, I want to try making an animation some time because they look really cool and allow you to really portray the personality of a character through them.

Oh gee, I absolutely ADORE YUGI'S. I love the shading, style, and overall emotion that any art they do has. They match each character with their personalities so well that it feels like they're really bringing them to life. It's just amazing. OwO

Is there any Viscet trait or mutation that you just can't seem to draw correctly? Do you happen to have a Viscet with this trait?
Would you believe me if I said the horns? I am almost never satisfied with the way I do horns, like no joke. In my mind they always end up looking like horrible awkward abominations that should not be on someone's head. That's why is struggle so bad with drawing Charlie. Tabitha has flatter horns but Charlie's are rounder with a more circular look and I can never get them right. I'm working on it though.

And finally, is there a type of art that you want to try that you never have? (Doesn't necessarily have to do with Viscets. Some examples could be animation, sculpting, writing...)
I honestly already have tried so many things, writing, sculpting, painting, even composing music. I can do all these things but there is one that I would love to do and I am in the beginning stages of figuring it out. Video Game design. Yep, it's getting there. I would love to learn the art of coding a game and to take so many things I dabble at and put them together. Pretty interesting, eh?

I have...more than one. Mint Chip, Yugi and Grifforik all have really amazing styles and I love their art. Mint has some really nice anatomy, Griff has amazing detail, and Yugi has beautiful effects. I love all of their art and they've honestly motivated me to improve more than I have. Thanks, guys, really. Also, I like Howling's animations...she's pretty good at perspective and the like.

Antlers, for the love of God. I can never draw them where they don't look like weird sticks popping out of the poor viscet's head. I don't have a viscet with antlers, though. A blessing and a curse? I really like how they look, in any case. Even if I can't draw them.

I have...tried a lot of things, honestly, just out of curiosity. I think I would like to learn to do 3D animation. I have made models of cets, but I've never tried to rig one and animate it. Unfortunately.
