There was a thread like this around? :O Well, found it better late than never. :3

This might be a long-shot, but I need some help.

My SAI is acting up lately. I can't save anything in any other format than .sai and .psd. =/
Anybody know why this could be and how to make it work again?

I remember encountering this bug a LONG time ago and fortunately, my boyfriend is software savvy and was able to help with it. However, I can't remember myself how he had done it.
There are guides on deviantArt that may help, but you may find your fix taking an awful long time.

I hope that helps. If not, you may need to completely remove the program from your computer (and I mean COMPLETELY) and then reinstall it.

I've started taking a realism class recently in preparation for my animation portfolio *v* I'm also going to join a figure drawing class hopefully during the summer and find a portfolio prep class ;7; If you guys have any practice suggestions for animation, that would help too ;v;;;

I wanted to experiment with some less-anime styles today and I decided to try to draw something line less because I've seen it around a lot but I've never actually tried it myself *v*

Let me know what you guys think and if you guys have any suggestions, I would love to hear them ;v;

@Paluumin - The style does still kinda look anime-ish to me but I find it more tolerable than full-on anime styles; I've never been a massive fan of those styles (I love the Ghibli movies I've seen though, they're so weird and I think it's really cool) but that drawing's awesome! I find it really hard to do lineless stuff usually, I did a small pixel once without lines (pixel lining is obnoxious though) but I don't think I've ever been able to pull it off, so well done! Especially when it isn't something you do regularly. c;

As for me, I doodled up this dragon thing last night, I might make them into a species that battles a lot but I just need to find effective ways of navigating that don't involve eyes cause I'd like them to have no eyes and massive mouths that extend past where the eyes go. Maybe they could be nocturnal or something and use hearing, smell and echolocation...? They have loads of toes and they don't end in a claw, they're just pointed. More for grabbing things than anything else. They would mostly use the claws on their wings, their teeth and their spikes for combat.

@rottingjesus -- oh dude that's so neat !! like the entire concept is incredibly intricate, yet not too busy in my opinion?? it's just a really neat piece and i'd really like to see more stuff along that vein from you? i find it hard to use a good balance of black and red, but it looks really good to me !! i really like that dude ;w;

@superunknown -- the doodle is really cool, but i'd really really love to see the species more fleshed out !! i'm a huge sucker for anything with multiple wings. the lore is really neat; it's hard to make an original dragon species but you seem to be going in a really interesting direction. i hope you end up fleshing them out more because i'd love to see more of them/read more about them !!

@paluumin -- the art really does look nice !! i have to agree that it does look pretty anime-ish, but i'm also not sure how to compare it to your other works because i haven't seen that style. :> the fluidity and movement looks really nice (something i struggle with) as well as the colors. i'm afraid i don't have much advice on improvement, but it looks really nicely done for your first time doing lineless !!

i'm looking for someone to do a redline on some hands in a particular piece i'm working on, if anyone would be up for that !! linked here it's definitely not stunning, and is a huge work in progress, but i find myself incredibly frustrated with the hands/paws? if you'd be willing to, please pm me so i can give you a bit more detail !! thank y'all and please keep up the amazing work???

This was a long overdue piece for someone over on DA, but I really want to improve it for them because I'm not very happy with the animation. Does anyone have any tips to make it less jumpy? Also, when I make icons in general I'm having a lot of trouble filling the canvas. Any tips? Thank you so much!
