The pain felt like it was building up inside Eglantine. It just got worse, and worse. She closed her eyes tightly. It was hurting more. And more. Suddenly she couldn't help it but let a whimper escape her. She instantly felt annoyed. That sounded weak! But the pain was too great for her to concentrate on that.
