What Made Your Day?

My close friend and I went stargazing last night and we saw a shooting star!! Neither of us was expecting it. We were talking about what we would wish for if we ended up seeing one, and when we actually saw one we forgot to make a wish bc we were so excited...x3

(This part is sappy) It was especially refreshing because I was visiting her college and I was really overwhelmed by college in general (it was my first college visit). Seeing that meteor made me realize that everything was going to be okay; no matter what I do or where I go, there are some things in my life that aren't going to change--like the stars, or the fact that we're still friends, even after all that happened. Being put into a weird unfamiliar situation isn't going to change that.

i managed to call my mom and talk to her a little about what i'm going through. speaking with her made me feel better and i think i can handle the rest of the weekend more easily now. i know it may not seem like much, but it took a lot of energy and i'm proud that i was able to do something to help myself ♡

one of my close friends on chicken smoothie has finally got her muse back and we've started our beloved roleplay again.

edit; also, my dog. i'm so proud of her. she's a german shepherd who is also 9 years old, which means she's got hips which are shot to hell. i also happen to have renovated the attic as my room, which means if she wants to come up into my room, she's gotta scale my super steep stairs. she did it earlier and i almost cried, i was so happy. our early morning walks have really been helping.
