I'm quite curious about your art process. Your art tends to have a certain look, I feel as if its something to do with some of your colours overlapping your lines, and the rough lighting. Could you give me a quick run-down of your process??

it's technically lineless
here's a screenshot from the first step of one of my drawings >> final drawing

I then draw the colors of the character on top of this, slightly smaller than the "lines," neatening with the eraser as I go
I ERASE, rather than draw new lines where the mouth/eyes should be.
use lock alpha to color in markings on this layer if the character has any
eyes n other small details on a new layer

then the lighting/shading is just really ????
***new layer for each color of light
just grab some colors from the character, and then drag them all the way to the highly saturated corner of the little color selecting thing
so they turn nEON
randomly splurt them all over one side of the character
and then neaten using the eraser
and then use layer settings like add and dodge (I vary between them, experiment a lil)

and you can add different light sources/colors from different sides, like with this drawing we're commenting on right now

then I add sparkly shines sometimes...
if you do this put the layer on "add"
for extra sparkliness, you can make a copy and box blur the copy by ~7 pixels and then lower the opacity of both layers a bit.. . nice effect

also I've been drawing most of this recent art with a trackpad, so that contributes to the rough, sorta unpolished feel of the 'brushstrokes'.. (my desk is a mess and I literally cannot use it rn, so I just kinda lie on my bed in weird pretzel-like poses as I do these drawings on a mac trackpad...)
as you can see everything is actually sort of wobbly
but I use this to my advantage... somehow

yeah this new style of mine is very recent, I'm just being highly experimental with eEVRYTHNG I do
