Honestly, I don't ship anyone from HTTYD. I think the canon ships are enough. Besides, do you see anyone other than Hiccup and Astrid from the team ever actually finding a spouse?

Well, There /was/ the episode where Ruff and Fishlegs got "Married" via Tuffnut. Ruff can chase Eret all she wants, but that episode was enough insight to see that she'd take interest in Fishlegs.

As for Snotlout.....tbh I'd pair him with Tuffnut, if only because Tuff is a little Dramatic at times, and because snotlout would /never/ get bored. (Either because he'd be chasing Tuff's tail as he goes about pranking, or because he would join in on said pranks.)

Good news guys! A release date for RTTE season 4 has finally been announced! It's February 17th! It was announced on the official HTTYD tumblr so it's definitely true.



And also several sneak peeks for The Serpent's Heir, the HTTYD graphic novel coming out in February, have been released and they look great! one two three

Also I've seen things about a comic, but I've never found it.
If anyone has links, I'd love to give it a read and fill myself in a bit.

Well, there were six Riders of Berk comics and then two Defenders of Berk comics that have already been released (they're available for sale but I don't think they're uploaded online anywhere), but The Serpent's Heir is completely separate. They've said it's the first in a series but I don't know how many books the series will have. I'm really excited about it because it's co-written by Dean DeBlois, the movies' director, and it takes place after HTTYD2, so we get to see more Eret and Valka and chief-Hiccup.
There was also a ten page comic called Burning Midnight that was released on free comic book day, and it's sort of a preview of Serpent's Heir. I know that's been uploaded online several places so that's available to read if you haven't yet.


(also yeaaahhh I'm so happy Voltron exists because it helps with the waiting for dragons. I'm gonna bingewatch all of season 2 tomorrow haha it's gonna be great)

Sorry for double posting, but DreamWorks posted a video earlier today that I wanted to share. It's a RTTE/Voltron crossover trailer which is pretty cool in itself BUT it has new clips from RTTE season 4!! Mala is in it and so is the Eruptodon. Oh man I'm so excited - 26 more days!

I can't find the full video on YT, but there is a video with just the HTTYD parts of the trailer. The quality's not great but I'd imagine the full video will be officially uploaded pretty soon anyway

I'm really excited for RTTE season 4! I can't wait for the new episodes, they left us on such a cliffhanger! I'm not going to watch any clips yet, because I don't want to spoil it.

So excited to see what happens with the Eruptodon!

Also, conspiracy theory:

Heather doesn't appear in the first movie, but she does appear in all the TV series. Then, we don't see her in the second movie. RTTE seems to be connecting things from the first movie and the previous shows to the second one, were Stoic gets Skullcrusher, Hiccup makes his fiery sword Inferno, etc. What if Heather dies in RTTE? That would explain why she doesn't appear in the second movie, and it would make for a really interesting storyline.

Conspiracy finished, what do you guys think?

Yeah I'm so excited for Defenders of the Wing part 2! I can't believe it's been almost seven months since season 3 was released.
I've seen a few people speculate that Heather dies, and while I agree that it would make a really interesting story, I'm not sure that'll happen. I think it's more likely that she'll just leave for some reason or another. Maybe she takes over as chief of the Beserkers? although she doesn't really seem like the leader type. I guess we'll just have to wait and find out
