Welcome to Terrelis! This art shop distributes custom pixel art in a range of sizes and forms. Making art for other people helps me improve my skills and how I use my art program, so there will be noticeable differences between some of my older art and my newer art. Please note that I am always accepting questions, but it might be helpful for you to look at the FAQ post before sending me a PM or responding to this thread with a question.

Are [insert pet here]s acceptable?

All pets are acceptable as payment, as long as they are on my wishlist.

May I reserve a slot?

No. I expect you to put as much effort keeping track of opened slots as I do to meet your art requirements.

Do you accept event tokens as payment?

Yes, as long as the event is still going and the tokens/prizes can be turned in. And because event tokens are items, they follow the cost of any normal item. Event tokens can be given to me as payment even after the event, too, they just won't have any special rank among other wishlist items. (If there are event pets, then those pets are applied to "Pet Payments" in art and are treated as normal pets, no matter the rarity.)

Do antlers/growths/extra limbs/etc. require me to pay extra pets?

No, such additions do not require extra payment.

Can you draw me more than one character in a single commission?

No, sorry.

Ordering a commission
∙ Do not post applications when all the slots are filled.

I expect only "Mark" posts to be made when all three slots are filled.

∙ Do not PM me commission forms.

All applications must be posted on the public Terrelis Art Shop thread.

∙ Do not spam your request or form.


∙ Getting a slot is first-come, first-served.

If you don't manage to get a slot when they are available, don't complain about it. There will always be a next time, especially if you are actively checking the Terrelis thread for updates.

∙ You cannot order more than one commission at a time.

This means that if you want two pieces of art from me, you will have to wait for the next batch of commissions to be finished before asking for a second commission.

∙ All applications must follow the forum/art rules and CS general rules.

There should be no content in your request that is not suitable for younger users. Minimal blood is fine, along with scars, wounds, some exposed flesh, etc. I will not draw "insane" characters or characters acting "insane." No sexual content, swearing, or any kind of obscenity is allowed.

∙ Being the first to apply for a commission does not mean your commission will be the first completed.

While I do try to prioritize those who apply first, there are other factors about commissions that contribute to the efficiency and completion. Smaller or simpler commissions such as forum avatars or characters with simple designs tend to be higher priority for me, to get the "easy stuff" out of the way first. Commissions with payment involving current event tokens are also completed much faster than normal, due to having an unchangeable deadline for the event's ending.

Commission requirements
∙ Do not remove my signature.

It is there for a reason. Removing the signature is also considered art theft, and that is not permitted in any way.

∙ The character(s) in your commission must belong to you.

They can be gifted to you or you can buy them from other users, but either way, they must belong to you. If you want to buy art for another user, sorry, but I'd rather not go through the complications of such processes.
This means that my art can not be used as an entry in any sort of art contest or giveaway.

∙ The character to be used in the commission MUST have an unshaded reference sheet with a flat color palette.

If you do not have a proper reference sheet with flat coloring and a color palette, I will not accept your commission.

∙ I will not draw anything that has to do with homosexuality.

Nothing against the LGBQ+ community, of course, but I do not follow that lifestyle and I choose not to draw it.
There are a few exceptions. The first is that I am completely willing to draw homosexual characters, as long as you are not requesting me to make them obviously LGBQ+. I will not, however, draw a LGBQ+ couple or flag(s).

∙ Do not copy, trace, edit, or claim my art as your own.

If I have made you a piece of art, you are free to use it wherever you want, as long as it is made obvious that it was not made by you. You cannot, however, change my art in any way; you are only allowed to post it from its original source, without tampering or editing it.

Payment
∙ When paying with pet(s) and/or item(s), the pet(s) / item(s) must be on my wishlist.


∙ When paying using pet(s) and/or item(s), the pet(s) / item(s) can not be from the year 2016 or the current year.

The exception to this rule is if the pet(s) and item(s) are from the Store. Another exception is if the pet(s) you are offering are 12/18 re-releases. In that case, 12/18 re-release pets are accepted.

∙ You cannot alter the payment trade while in the process of completing a commission.

If the payment trade is in any way changed without my request or thorough communication, I will not submit your finished commission. Instead, I will send you a PM inquiring about such and will request the trade to be fixed. If you do not fix the trade and/or respond within 48 hours, your commission and slot will be discarded permanently.

∙ I do not accept art or characters/character designs as payment.


∙ Do not request art and then say that you can't pay.

You must have the payment within 24 hours of acceptance. If you do not have that payment, you cannot be given art.

∙ Do not send your payment until after I have accepted your commission.

If you send it anyway, your trade will be cancelled, form will be declined, and you will have to apply it again.

Other
∙ Do not bump this topic, please!

I will bump it if I need to, but it generally creates spam and that is against CS rules.

∙ Please be patient when waiting for me to complete your commission.

I normally do not make art my top priority, due to having a life outside CS, but I will try to get your piece done as soon as possible. You may have to wait for up to a month (30-31 days), but it is usually less.

Accessories and jewelry cost one Common pet per commission, no matter the complexity or type of commission.

Characters with complex designs will cost one extra Uncommon pet.

Pets that have unknown rarities will never be accepted unless they are store pets. Any unknown rarity pets will be worth 1 rare, no matter what they end up being worth in the future. Otherwise, I will only accept pets that have definite rarities.

Something that would help when paying for your art is putting the pet(s) in a separate group, or writing down/noting to yourself how much C$ or what item(s) you are using as payment. Doing so is not required, but can be helpful to some users.

This post is to advertise other art shops who may also be willing to advertise Terrelis on their thread. However, mutual advertisement to Terrelis is not required.
