Facebook has a few good groups but just have to watch out for tirekickers (ask about models and say they want but then back out) MH$P is also a great site to sell on.

Ok, so my dad went to an antique store a month or so ago and saw this stone horse. I have been on the internet trying to find it but cannot. Any tips at all?

-It is a dark dapple grey draft with a light grey mane.
-His/her tail is braided into the traditional draft braid.
-It is signed Peter Stone, May 06, 2006
-It is also signed (possibly, the picture he took has a glare) Nick _ _ _ ysceka ( It looks like the first letter of the last name is a P. I honestly do not know if the name is correct. Again, blurry picture with a glare) This signature is dated as well. It looks like it is 6/?/??0.
-My dad said there is a date, 1996. He didn't say where or if it is Nick's? signature.
- It looks as if the horse is standing square, his head is held high, and also has at least two white markings on the back feet. No clue on face markings.

Again, all I know it the above. What I know for sure is he is a draft horse that seems to resemble a Percheron. It is definitely a dark dapple grey. And we are assuming it is a peter stone due to the signature.

Unfortunately, he did not buy it. Also, I can post a picture or two if needed.

Was it this perhaps? (minus the cart and harness of course)

It sounds like an early run of a Stone Standing Drafter, when they actually had large runs of models instead of small runs/one-of-a-kinds that they have today. In mint condition these guys are usually worth around $50-$75, although there isn't much of a market for older Stones since their paint jobs were more basic and the plastic they used tended to yellow really badly if there was no paint covering it.

I wish I could give an exact name and year on the model, except the Stone Horse reference site is constantly down (wish the person who runs it would give it up to someone more capable of updating it to a better server and system but they won't, they'd rather scrap the whole thing from what it sounds like, which is a shame).

He looked like that but without the mane braids. I have no clue if they were broken off or customed.

Has anyone purchased hwin yet? Thoughts on the mold/paint job? Also anyone know what size it is relative to other traditional models?

I don't have Hwin but I have had Forever Saige and Namid (sold both later). She's a little shorter than most traditional molds and she compares very well to the Buckshot mold (she's like an updated version of him, almost the same pose and size). My opinion on the mold is like many others, great from certain angles and awkward from others. She looks good on the show side but the off-side where she's looking away from you, her neck is a bit too long. But I like her, she has a lot of sass and character compared to other molds and I think she's pretty cute overall.

As far as Hwin's paint job: I think it's alright, though I would hand pick her in person just to be sure you get good dapples - with that many they can really end up looking like fish scales or chicken wire. The shading is nice, though!

The only new 2017 release I bought was Fantasia Del C and Gozosa, but I bought them mostly to keep a complete conga of those molds. They look good in it!

Unfortunately the foal has a huge black spot over its eye (like an airbrush mishap) but the mare came out lovely and I was happy to see she wasn't bare plastic like Banks Vanilla last year, instead she is painted white with some gray shading.

Oh man, looks like I may have to head to the tack shop for that set! The foal's shading is lovely <3

I am a very new Breyer collector but I love them. I have five.
One traditional and the rest are classic. The traditional was given to me by my friend from Breyer fest and it was the special one! My mom won't allow me to go this year unless I can find a way XD but I'm so jealous of my friend.

Ok, so I found this model on the official website and may I say at the very least I love it? The mold is just amazing and the coloring... I can't even!

I have gifted 5 people.
I have received 4 gifts.
