I am trying so very very hard at making my joint and legs better in my art. Does anyone have any good tips and tutorials for back leg joints and stuff for canines (foxes, wolves, ect)?
Because look at these back legs, they ain't right! 8c

So full of hate were our eyes
That none of us could see
Our war would yield countless dead
But never victory
So let us cast arms aside
And like discard our wrath
Thou, in faith, will keep us safe
Whilst we find the path

I don't see anything wrong with them, perhaps you just think they're too skinny? It's just a part of your style. ;u;

hm, i'm not the best at animals, but if you add me i can do my best pointing out what i see the problem as being? it's one of these things easier to explain by doing than by words i'm afraid*
*this is because 90% of the time when i ask my brain 'ok how do we explain how to draw this to other people', it replies 'you gotta BOOSH IT.' in markiplier voice

Your legs are completely fine. I understand that it doesn't look right in your eyes. But your style right now is very pleasant.
Most artists struggle with making their legs as skinny as yours are and have a nasty habit of making big blocky legs.
But of course, if your not convinced and still are in some need for some tips, i could give you some.
Maybe bring the start of your leg a bit up on the body, it will make the leg seem less "long"
Don't pull your leg out that far, shorten it just a tad
I really don't have anything else to say, your legs are kinda flawless .3.

I'm not great at this, but I'll give it a shot :'D
I suggest you look up refs for the animals you're drawing so you can get a good grasp on how long each section of the leg is. For example, in your ref of Opal you've posed, the heel joint is pretty far away from the foot compared to how it would be on a fox. Tracing over some images like this to find the joints (or even the hips) might help you some. Also you might want emphasize the knees a bit more, idk. I don't think your red line you drew on your sketch is too far off ;v; You may also try using different shapes in your sketches. I had a tough time with feet and paws before I started using a triangle instead of a cirlce to draw them out
Hope that helps you some, aaa
