Woot!
Got to go out today, and now I have 29 Pokeballs (14 Basic, 6 Great, and 9 Ultra).
I hatched a Staryu, which is nice because now I can evolve mine.

But....
I have /5/ 10k Eggs.
It's gonna take me a month to hatch all those..
..Well, Unless I force my brother to go out walking with me...
But I /hate/ having lots of 10k eggs if I only have 1 incubator.

The struggle is real, maybe if you have a dog they would love to go for walks (or force your brother whichever works)

My Dog isn't very...Walk friendly.
She tends to pull and get distracted; and lord help me if the neighbors tiny, yippy dogs are running around. I'd never get her back to the house. xD ((But seriously, they need to keep those things either indoors, tied up, or in cages. They'll get hit being in the road like they do.))

So yeah, I guess I'll have to get my brother to walk with me.
He's not so bad about, especially if my mom re-enforces it.

It just sucks in general because it's not like my neighborhood is very big. A Single go around is only about 3k, and by the time I'm ready to do any walking, my walking get's cut short 'cause I'm losing daylight. It's the only reason I'm missing those longer summer days.

I was supposed to do work for my boyfriend's IT company today, but plans for that fell through for reasons.

So, this morning I was debating whether or not I felt like playing PoGo. Cold weather and feeling kind of lazy made me decide I didn't, but I figured I'd open the game anyway because the place where I'm staying right now is in range of a Pokestop and a few spawn points, so I figured I may as well get my Go+ going to buzz me every now and then. I opened the nearby list out of curiosity and saw the usual Pidgeys and whatnot. One of the images took slightly longer to load. I was just gonna close the list in boredom, but I waited just a few more seconds for the image to load... and it was a silhouette. D':

Haven't seen one of those in months. It was an Omastar, which is crazy for me because Omanyte are super rare where I live. To give you an idea, I've been playing since the game was released and I've only encountered 3...

I laced up my boots as fast as I could and ran out the door in just a shirt because my boyfriend "borrowed" my hoodie earlier in the morning because he was too lazy to go upstairs and get his own one (spoilers: he didn't give it back). It was pretty cold out but I didn't have to run too far, just across the road and a few meters further.

So yeah, here's an album with pics of it P:

Almost 2000 CP, the highest I've ever caught... But the worst possible moveset. D'x

Oh well, I did need the dex entry.

Congrats tho, omanyte are super rare around here too.

Has anyone else come across a nest that has never migrated?
I swear these guys have been there since day1. And there is always, ALWAYS at least one magnemite in that exact location. To the point where I don't even bother to check my phone when I pass by there and it vibrates. I just know its them. It's always them....




Edit: also I'm at 354 magikarp candies.... so close....

Congrats on your Omastar polerberr, I also need one. Since the game is out, I've seen 3 - but was only able to get 2. >.<

Saw nothing interesting today, but got a Growlithe out of an egg. My only Arkanine (95% IV *sobs) has the worst possible moveset, so I'm hoping to get enough candy to evolve another one.

Your really lucky to get that Omastar though.. and even have a Koffing already.. just.. HOW DO YOU GET THAT LUCCKYY
Since I live in a place filled with Rattata, Pidgey and rarest Pokemon to catch is Exeggcute, and my rarest Pokemon I have is my Clefairy I caught at Starbucks
And that CP you got for Omastar is unbelievable..

The rarest Pokemon I've seen has to be Dratini.
Only had 3 of them the entire time I've been playing.

I still don't have any baby pokemon, either.
What eggs do they even hatch out of, or is it just purely randomized?

They hatch from the same kind of egg as their "adult" version would have. (With the exception of pichu I think?? I've seen different info on the internet and havent got one myself so far)

Cleffa, Igglybuff = 2km eggs
Pichu = 2km or 5km, not sure
Togepi = 5km eggs
Elekid, Smoochum, Magby = 10km eggs

Pikachu hatched from 2km eggs so it would make sense for pichu to come from those as well, but some people have said it hatches from 5km eggs. Pls do let me know if any of you have hatched one yourselves.
