Howdy all!

Recently there has been a lot of rule breaking going on within SCS and I am briefly just hopping in to remind y'all of some rules.
This is directed at no one in particular, because this is meant for all of our community members: rules are meant to keep a community functioning and safe, so they're here for a reason.



--> If you have enough points for a custom please only buy one once a month.


Y'all may be wondering, why is this important? To sum it up simply, it is here for fairness. No specific user can then buy a mass of customs and cause an imbalance in the community, making it unfair: not only that, but our lovely artists have to make an adopt for every single custom drawn. That means every time a custom form is submitted to an artist, they have to make a corresponding adopt. This means double the work for the artist.

That being said, yes: this rule is important. As with all our other rules, it shouldn't be ignored. [And it should also be noted that any time a purchase is made, our bank owner Neah Walker should be notified]. This rule has been up since October and has been located on the front page and the fanclub so it ain't anything new.

We love y'all here and we're making the community as smoothly running as possible. I don't like giving out warnings or strikes and I'm sure none of our other mods do too. We appreciate everyone's support of the shelter because hey; this community is great, lets try and keep it that way.

If anyone has questions, comments, concerns, or other input, feel free to toss any of the mods or the owner a message!

Do any of your animals have any new year resolutions? What about your new year resolutions for them?
They don't know what new year resolutions are but I have some for them.
Wish should try and open up to people quicker, Romeo to stop being such a show-off (cx) and Miles to not be that anti-social. The rest are pretty good x3

In what ways are your SCS adopts similar (design / concept / personality) and what ways are they different?
Alright. So Aki and one of his pups Masaru are both extremely energetic. Miles and Wish are kinda similar. Miles is anti-social and Wish is shy around new people.. Erin and Romeo like being the best and the top, and both are aggressive at times.

For differences, coat colour wise they're all pretty different. So, Aki is energetic, loves to play, likes attention is a huge goofball, and Cameron prefers to be alone, she's pretty quiet, and is more intelligent than a goofball, which is somewhat odd since they're father and daughter. And I can't think of other things cx

Do any of your adopts have any companions of their own? Perhaps another animal or maybe a toy they adore?

Aki has his two children, Masaru and Cam.
Wish really likes her bunny toy.
Romeo... not sure yet..
Alex has Brianin as a mate (?) (Spiritstar3 owns Brianin)

Who is your happiest animal? Why? Is there anything that makes them the happiest?
It's either Masaru or Aki... they're both basically the exact same personality wise cx
They're both very energetic (Like I stated 100 times) and running makes both of them happy and makes them feel free and alive.
They both love attention and go nuts over get fussed about, and that's quite often.

Now, who is your grumpiest? Is there anything that might make them really, really grumpy?
Hmm... I don't have an adopt that's necessarily grumpy all the time, but the one who gets grumpy the most is probably Alex. He gets mad over annoying jokes and sarcasm and such... and yeah. x3

For whatever reason, lets assume your adopts like wearing sunglasses/shades/some sort of eyewear. You heard me right, yeah- what type of eyewear would they be wearing?
Aki-Sunglasses!
Wish-Probably like, just normal glasses
Cam-Also glasses
Masaru-Sunglasses again!
Romeo-Shades cx
Alex-Er, a monocle? cx I honestly don't even know anymore.
Erin-Shades!
Miles-I bet he would prefer to be blind so he doesn't have to see other dogs... but it'd probably be like.. glasses.

Same as above, except with hats- what type of hats would your adopts try to wear?
Aki-A cap... that's turned backwards
Wish-Er.. I don't remember the name of them.. but I'd have all kinds of trinkets on it like her collar

With the changes in weather, how do your adopts feel with things getting colder / warmer?
Aki doesn't like it since he can't catch leaves in the cold. But the rest of them don't have an opinion.

Last question- with the holidays having passed, who did your adopts spend them with?
All of them spent time with the family (Aka me and no one else cx)

@spiritstar3: depends on what chow and saluki you mean; ive seen a couple salukis and didnt poke around enough to find a chow, but if a winner hasnt been announced then it probably hasnt been judged yet.


hello hello i feel like ive posted too much on this page already,, whoops. but recap,, i own dexter, the very best around on the staff team (definitely, confirmed), along with my newest addition bismuth. hes literally one of my only few cat characters (im pretty sure i have two cat characters in all help) so hes pretty special in some way. both of them are gay looking for roleplays/relationships/etc so hmu if you wanna throw another adopt with them !!

honestly im pretty sure everyone, including myself, forgot about new year resolutions. heres to hoping for a cool twenty seventeen.

speaking honestly, dexter and bismuth are similar in any way at all. unless you count that they were both named after something. differences include species, personality, attitudes, their likelihood to survive up against neah, a lot of differences.

Do any of your adopts have any companions of their own? Perhaps another animal or maybe a toy they adore?
dexter has all of the staff animals as companions; he loves every one of them, even if they dont love him back. bismuth has alkie as a companion. an argumentative and annoying and "absolutely rude" companion, but nonetheless, a companion.

Who is your happiest animal? Why? Is there anything that makes them the happiest?
between the two of them, dexter is the happiest even though his mood can change very quickly. what makes him happy is the attention he gets for being himself; its a great boost to his dexter ego.

bismuth is definitely the grumpy one. a lot of things make him grumpy; mostly alkie and his fur getting sticky and messy and anything unsanitary seems to get him in a bad mood.

dexter would be rocking out in star sunglasses; very specifically bootsy collins mirrored star sunglasses. bismuth is wearing the thick rimmed, square frame glasses and has absolutely no shame with his choice.

Same as above, except with hats- what type of hats would your adopts try to wear?
oh god. dexter has some sort of cowboy hat that is probably chewed up around the edges (nice job dex) and bismuth is decked out in a fedora because thats the only thing he actually likes.

With the changes in weather, how do your adopts feel with things getting colder / warmer?
dexter is upset with it getting cold because it means he has to wear multiple layers of sweaters and it sucks, bismuth doesnt care because hes an inside animal.

Last question- with the holidays having passed, who did your adopts spend them with?
dexter spent them with some dogs from the same kennel club as him; he really enjoyed seeing his friends. bismuth was brought in near the end of the holidays, so he spent his holidays at the shelter.
