Personality: Akin is stubborn and quiet, often dubbed the 'strong and silent type' even though he isn't very powerful. He tends to be easily forgotten, and he likes it that way, preferring to be a background character in other's stories. When there's a situation that needs handling, he is often turned to for advice due to his level-headed stance on many issues and calm temper. Often, he'll have complete strangers come up to him asking for aide, having heard of him from their friends or family. He tends not to talk about his past (or anything, really), as it was difficult for him, and is part of the reason he rarely speaks. He grew up in a small forest with his mother and brother, quite happy. However, he and his family were captured by salesmen to put for purchase on the black market. He managed to escape, but with a tongue injury. It has healed since then, but it still pains Akin to speak for long periods of time, so he tends to avoid it.
