xxxxxPebblepond had been rolling in her nest lazily when she heard a familiar cat call out for her. She groaned quietly at the thought of getting up, though she forced herself to her paws anyways. She perked her ears and padded towards the source of the sound, her tail dragging against the stairs as she walked. As she approached Tornado, she watched as her kits stuck together as if it was their only option. Worried, she looked up to the tabby queen and cocked her head. "What's wrong?" She asked with a quiet yawn.

"I'm only joining so you don't slaughter the kittypet." She sighed and shrugged, though overall accepted the invitation to the group. She cocked her head and looked at Lachlan. "I don't see how you've yet to run from him." She said, noting how Yew easily towered over the younger tom.

orchidfire lashed her tail back and forth, her heavily pregnant belly exposed to the sunlight above. she looked around at the chattering cats and lowered her head onto one of her paws, sighing. she was days away from giving birth to her kits and she was extremely nervous. it was her first time as a queen, but certainly not her last, as she wanted to have a second litter with ashmoon later.

Ashmoon purred holding his head high with a plump mouse hanging from his jaws as he approached his mate. Gently he set it down by her paws, gently licking between her ears. "Hello love, how are you all doing today? It's nice we are leaving today from this damn place." He settled down beside her grooming her soft fur and purring loudly hoping to ease some of her nerves. "Hopefully they don't take after you and decide the worst moment to meet us."

Splashnose ducked her head taken back slightly at Boulderstar's shock. "Well, I know some basics and self defense but I'm afraid I'm very rusty. Kittypets have no need for it and my kits where too young to leave when I arrived. Thank you, Boulderstar. I hope to stay and give back to repay all that you have done for me and my kits."

Frostkit was still flailing about wildly burning off some of his energy as he flailed about, playfully batting wildly at Noel's fluffy tail as he sprawled out wiggling in the dirt and dust. "When can we go! I want to get out of here, you'll love the forest Noel hey we could find a nice sun rock in the new territory! It doesn't have that weird pelt stuff on it like this one but it has moss and sometimes snakes! I wonder what snake taste like, let's try to hunt snakes! Flamefall can you teach me how to hunt a snake!?"

"it's about time too. i was getting sick of this place. i miss the camp." she said, leaning gently on ashmoon for support. she felt as if she would topple over, her belly was so full. "i can't wait until our kits are born." she murmured, closing her eyes and pressing against him.

Quailtail ears dropped a little and she followed her sister. Yes, logically they wouldn't go back but a part of Quailtail wanted to believe they would. "I wonder where we will be going then, since we have no idea where we are or anything. We can't just choose a random spot and live there." She said and waited for others while pawing at the ground.

"i am worried that these two little bundles of energy might be too much for just me. i would like it if you might help me keep track of them?" Tornado asked as she looked at her kits, cowering against her.

"i tried asking Splashnose, but that did not end well." Tornado said as her anger started to burn in her eyes once more, "Snooty know-it-all tried to lecture me on how to raise my kits. like she has any room to say anything!"

Tornado bit her tongue before she said any more. she was unsure how much the rest of the clan knew about her history, and as much as she might dislike Splashnose, she would never reveal the intimate secrets that Splashnose revealed to her.

he hissed out the last sentance as if he was spitting out bile. he stood to his full height and looked down his nose at Heather. she was going to be a pawful, and he was intrigued by it.

Peachfur turned to her sister with a wide smile, "that is exactly what every other clan did, it is what our ancestors did. they found a spot that had everything that they needed and stayed. they turned Amberclan into what they wanted it to be, shaping it around the territory that they picked."

she turned in a tight circle before facing her sister again, "we will be pioneers founding a new clan in a new home. who knows, maybe we will even change our name to something else! shed the old and embrace the new."

Quailtail said and tilted her head thoughtfully. She could tell her sister was excited and willing to embrace change but Quailtail was unsure still and was a little worried.

petalkit was oblivious to tornado's anger as she pressed close to her mother, purring as she soft, floccose fur warmed her. she opened a pale yellow eye to look over at pebblepond curiously. petalkit quietly wondered to herself if the warrior was nice. the grey she-cat seemed willing to talk to tornado, which helped to reassure the kit.

flamefall turned from adderpaw, laughing as frostkit began to burn off his energy. how such a small cat could have that much energy right after waking up, flamefall would never know. the kit's excitement seemed to make the warrior surprisingly happy. quite honestly, flamefall thought that she and noel had both grown attached to frostkit in almost a motherly way, and it made the warrior wonder. she knew she did indeed develop feelings for the new warrior, and simply being around her seemed to completely lift her spirits. however, she was snapped from her thoughts by the enthusiastic voice of frostkit. flamefall laughed, a small smile crossing her muzzle. "of course. when you're older, that is." she reassured.

lachlan felt himself panic slightly as yew and heather immediately seemed to argue back and forth. as soon as yew snapped however, lachlan immediately darted behind heather in alarm. hoping to cease the argument, he coughed, his small voice stammering. "i-i could go spy..." the tom suggested, his ears pinned flat.

xxxxxPebblepond looked to Tornado's kits, watching as they squirmed in the warm nest their mother had left just minutes ago. Her gaze flitted to Tornado as the molly spoke again. "I'd love to. To be honest, I've always been interested in being a queen, but I don't want the kits. Motherly figure, I guess?" She chuckled, making her way to the nest and greeting the pair of kits with a couple of quiet mewls. Her ears perked as Tornado continued, causing her to turn in the queen's direction.
"Splashnose is nice from what I've heard. ..I guess that isn't a lot." She admitted, sitting in front of the nest and crowning her tail over her white paws. "What did you guys argue about, anyways? There isn't a lot to argue about that involves kits. Now I'm intrigued!"

Heather extended a paw and hovered it over her muzzle as she yawned. "Whatever helps you sleep with the mice, that you can't catch, mind you, sweetheart." She cocked her head up to look at the tom in the eyes. There was no question that Yew could easily tower over her and Lachlan, but there was no way in StarClan that she could be intimidated by such a cat. Admittedly, she had seen worse, but she wouldn't tell Yew that.

A loud purr rumbled in the white molly's throat as she watched Frostkit bounce around near the nest. She chuckled a bit, trying to remember a time she had ever come face to face with an actual snake that wasn't just a toy. Noel turned her head to watch as the small tomkit batted her tail around. She whisked it around in a fanning motion, allowing the kit a proper target.
