True, true, so very true~ Yet I highly doubt the victor shall willingly part with him once he is in fact theirs, I believe it would be far more likely that they'd defend him just as viciously as any nesting mother dragon might. Perhaps tacking up one of the Medieval Friesians and challenging the dragon as a knight or dame, or maybe they'd attempt to bribe said ruler of the skies with glittering gems, jewels, and gold. Or, they might even do both, the carrot and the stick in order to better ensure that this charmingly draconic stallion remains in their herd, rather than the dragon's hoard.

that's a way too xD but maybe the dragon can't even drag the horse to his hoard, because the hoard would need to be under water. otherwise the hippo itself will get very furious if the dragon tries to steal it away from it habitat xD

Yes, it would be quite difficult to drag a squirming, squealing, snapping hippocampi up to a mountainous hoard. However, what if the dragon's hoard is underwater? There's an old legend that if a carp can swim up a specific waterfall, it shall be turned into a dragon, and surely such a dragon would still maintain some affinity to water, no? With all the variety to be found in the draconian species, it wouldn't surprise me at all if there was a dragon with an underwater hoard.

definitly... but if it is a water dragon then... it's a fight the future owner must win ^^'
