RelationshipsRed--- Atheon's mate and caregiver, Red is the only reason Atheon hasn't accidentally starved himself to death or fallen asleep on the job. Atheon is always taking care of others and forgets to take care of himself, and hates to admit that he relies heavily on Red to keep him healthy. Her soothing words remind him of the extremely important fact that he is only one viscet; and can't change the world in a day.
Saturn--- This viscet is Red's favorite knight, and therefore he sees a lot of him. A little too excitable for his liking, Atheon tolerates the young lad and commemorates him for his honesty and commitment to the kingdom. Although he will never admit it, Atheon enjoys having Saturn around.
Eun--- Eun is Atheon's older brother, and now lives on as a type of angel- he is technically dead but retains a physical form. Eun is a valorous, diligent, dedicated, loyal, trustworthy, faithful, and strong viscet both physically and mentally. He holds too much faith in earthly creatures and is often confused by the existence of evil in all of its forms. When they were visclings, Eun was the one to hold back Atheon's rage towards their father, and taught him how to be faithful and stay dedicated to his beliefs. Eun died before he had a chance to become king. The two don't talk much anymore, since Atheon feels Eun's knowledge of the earth and cosmos (now that he is an angel) puts them on different levels, and Atheon doesn't feel he can truly communicate anymore. As well as the fact that Atheon deals with evil everyday in his kingdom, and Eun is of no help to him in that category.

About Atheon is a very simple viscet: he lives for the day when every viscet can be happy, healthy, and at peace. He is the king of (this) kingdom, and he takes his position very seriously. Totally opposite of his father, Atheon knows the heart of the kingdom lies within the citizens. He uses the power of his crown to help those who need it, and you won't see him indulging in luxuries unless he knows he has done everything he can for his kingdom with every ounce of energy he can offer.
His personality towards his kingdom is shown through the four items he most commonly wears: his crown, gauntlets, helmet, and medallion necklace. The item Atheon wears the least often, but holds the most authority, is his
crown. Embellished with cuts of pure Ruby, Emerald, and Turquoise; Atheon's crown represents leadership. He is the king of this kingdom, and he takes his position very seriously. Totally opposite of his father, Atheon knows the heart of the kingdom lies within the citizens. He uses the power of his crown to help those who need it, and you won't see him indulging in luxuries unless he knows he has done everything he can for his kingdom. His father was an evil viscet; believing that the only way a kingdom can rule was if the king was rich and living in luxury; and therefore he used the crown to steal from the poor, and hurt those who didn't meet impossible expectations. This is why Atheon doesn't like to wear the crown--- some still cower in fear from the horrors his father committed on the kingdom when they see it, and Atheon doesn't want anybody to fear him, for if it wasn't for his looks, he has nothing in common to his father, and he's honestly glad the man's dead.
When in battle, Atheon believes that strength is given to him when he wears his custom-fit
gauntlets. Even though they don't really protect him from much, he feels that the gauntlets help him protect the "egg" which is his kingdom. Plain paws can only do so much, but with these gauntlets acting as a barrier between his kingdom and the evils of the world, he believes his paws can do great things and achieve amazing heights for his kingdom.
With swirls and a shade of gold that match his own markings, Atheon takes great pride in his
helmet. Adorned with sun and moon symbols to represent the cycle of life, this viscet has put his life on the line many times, each whilst wearing this helmet. It was specially made for him, and every time he puts it on he hopes it won't be the last. His helmet represents security in his life, and it's actually hard to find a time when he isn't wearing it. Almost like a security blanket, he feels exposed and vulnerable without it. When the crown's off, the helm is on. Actually, he's been seen wearing both at once... even though it doesn't work very well.
Of all his items, Atheon's
necklace is his most beloved. The chain is just any old chain, but it's the medals hanging off it; those hold a place near and dear to his heart. Each medal hanging from the chain represent life and luck. The sun represents life in his kingdom; the sun rising on a new day, and a new opportunity. When the sun sets, then life is over, and you go live as a star among the moon. Each medallion was gifted to him each time he returned home from a battle, so each medallion also represents a time when life could have ended for him. He can look at each identical medal and tell the difference between them; and remember how lucky he is to still be here. He never takes it off, and his greatest wish is to be able to hand it down to his future oldest child with many gold suns, and lacking a silver moon medallion; which would mean that he died in battle. Even though it would be honorable to die in a battle for his kingdom, he doesn't wish to leave his family that way.
