slush puppy love | a tryout form

personality `
at first meeting, helios seems to come off as a musician with a big ego and rude character. in reality though, he is just a spacey dude who is generally distanced from anyone who's not his friend. his attitude is incredibly laid back, and at times can have people assume he is disinterested in everything. disregard all this though because once you get to know him, he's kind of the sweetest kalon imaginable. being helios' friend means he will usually try to spend the majority of his time around you and really means it when he says he loves you a lot! he's also not as calm as he comes off as, and gets super nervous when he's going to play a big music show in front of lots of kalons. you might want to know that to helios, 10 kalons is a lot. the idea of being famous, and of course, he's not, freaks him out too. when he's nervous he'll run his paws through his hair aimlessly and if you know him well enough you'll be able to tell something is making him uncomfortable just by seeing this. another thing helios does out of pure habit is swaying from side to side. this usually means he is either in a state of intense relaxation or is attempting to relax.
you may have caught onto the fact that, helios likes making and playing music. he currently goes under the pseudonym "pilot care", a reference to his love of airplanes, and his stuff sounds very similar to older homeshake stuff (note, if you're gonna listen to the album i'm pretty sure there's some really vague swearing in there! i don't expect you to but just so ya know in case haha). his fans are literally just his friends, and the only real "shows" he plays are on rare occasions at his highschool. he's happy with this though, as he has exaggerated stage-fright and prefers to only play for his friends.
hanging around him for long enough, you soon learn helios would like to take care of a pet. even longer and he'll tell you he wishes he had a cat, but doesn't feel responsible enough. in the mean time he takes care of the neighborhood rooster, which he has affectionately named rusty. he lets rusty into his room sometimes for some company.
currently, helios lives in a medium sized city where the weather is very hot during the summer and snow is heavy during the winter. he enjoys both the warmth and chill of his residence and promises himself that he'd never move unless the new place's weather was the same. speaking of weather, helios at times will tune into the weather channel when he's bored, since he likes both the music and how weather is so diverse. it's probably the only channel that he really watches, if ever, on his little static-y box tv.
helios doesn't have any true hate in his heart, though he really dislikes when a kalon's personality is fake. he believes there's really no reason to act like someone you aren't and finds it very easy to spot when someone isn't acting themselves. this of course, can lead to ignorance though. which helios doesn't realize.

july 8 2008
warm outside today, as usual. i went out to work and the cd in the player got stuck, kind of funny, kind of not. it's still in there.
a friend visited afterwards and after i was done feeding rusty we went out to the pool. not much else to say.
in the afternoon i wrote a song but i think it's kind of stupid and might throw it out.

clouds covering the sky but the heat was still warm against my fur. i stayed in my room all day trying to finish the song i wrote yesterday. still haven't worked it out but i'm getting there.
phoned my friend after a while and we talked for an hour,

sun's out again.
in a hotel, i was on a roadtrip just earlier. i love the feeling of the sun coming through the window in the car and you feel a relaxing tiredness from it. the hotel room is small but i don't plan on spending much time in it.
it's also a small town i'm in, it's different from the city but i like it. i think i already know half my way around it! actually i went to a restaurant earlier and the food was pretty bad, it looked so cool inside though.
gonna go for a walk now.
