Tornado snarled at the female as she rudely responded, "well, if you have only kept two kits out of who knows how many, perhaps i don't want your help! if i would have known that you were such a terrible mother to begin with i never would have asked! the entire reason i came to this clan was to give my kits the best chances of survival, and if you are going to be so rude and terrible then you just stay far far away from me and my family! your arrogance and ignorance will get any kits from a queen that you try to help killed anyway. just because you think you are so much older and have had so many litters does not mean that you are smarter, it only means that you are more mousebrained! perhaps you should think a bit before doling out advice to those who neither want it nor need it!"

Tornado was glad that the arrogant she-cat had refused to help, she did not want someone that irresponsible and unloving help her with her precious family anyway. they had a better chance of surviving without that queen's bad luck hanging around.

Quailtail finished munching on the dry hard pellets that were suppose to taste like "chicken". "Yeah, I can't wait for some actual food either but at least we are leaving today. I miss being free and I miss the territory and our camp. Plus it would be nice to have my old nest back." Goldenpaw rolled her eyes at Sparrowpaw's obvious distaste at the pellets. Scrunching her nose up at the thought of having to eat more than necessary, she shook her head. "I'd rather not fill myself with those things, so no thanks." She gagged at the thought of the pellets weighing her down on the journey, and curled her lip. "Plus, you'll starve if you don't have some. We've 'ot not a clue where we're going, and if there's food outside the place." Raising her muzzle to the side and glancing off at the fence, she stared pensively for a moment before a thud to her rump caused her to stumble back and fall to the ground in an ungraceful sprawl. Gaping, she scrambled up to her paws and was meet with the face of a none-too-guilty apprentice, and she fought back a yelp. "Pfft, you blind two-leg," she huffed, flushing lightly at her feeble insult. "How did you possibly manage to run into me and knock me down with the force of a cow? I don't even know why I was concerned over you starving when clearly you've been eating quite a lot!" Goldenpaw squawked, pouting as she saw him holding back a grin.

Currently, he was sulking near the corner of the barn, but earlier, he had jumped up excitedly, searching around for Constance once more. This time, however, he found her-- or more so found out what had happened to her. He hadn't known exactly why, still didn't, but apparently the she-cat loner had left overnight, or something of the sort. Perhaps it was the commitment that scared her, or Boulderstar's announcements, but it still made his paws feel heavy like stones and his ears droop like a flimsy branch. Whatever, he scowled- the fact that such a matter could be dismissed with one word made him feel as if ants were crawling through his pelt- if she was happy, then so was he.

Sparrowpaw stopped holding back his grin. "Well I kind of wanted to survive so I ate those gross pellets" he muttered. His tail thrashed. He meowed, "If I were an enemy. i could have easily killed you as you were figuring out what was going on." He took a small pause to clear his throat because it got stuffy. "Lets see how rusty your skills are" he yedown as he was lunging at Goldenpaw. Sparrowpaw kept his claws sheathed and tried his best to pin her down. He pretended to scratch where he could scratch her, just digging his paw lightly into her skin.

Frostkit flailed about, a tangle on long limbs and too much energy as his odd eyes seemed to glow. "Really! We are going home soon?" The young tom let out a whoop of joy, bouncing around Flamefall and Noel in excitement, sloppily mimicking the hunting and fighting moves he had seen in the past.

Splashnose smiled, slipping away from the little family to find Boulderstar and Leopardstrike both in conversation. She felt her chest swell, a familiar feeling as something lodged itself in her throat as she tried to speak, making a hushed sound. She took a deep breath, holding her head higher and looking the two toms in the eye. "I want to learn how to fight. Please." Her boys would be apprentice's soon, learning to defend and if she wished she could leave nothing binding her to this group. She was not warmly welcome and despite her time here she was an outsider, isolated in ways her children no longer where. She could leave.
But for some reason, she didn't want to.

Boulderstar raised his head to meet Splashnose's gaze. He cocked his head in question. "Fighting? Splashnose, did you happen to forget your past training?" He joked with a polite smile before settling down near the nests. As he sat, he heard her ask again. He looked at her and wasn't sure how to react. He knew of her kittypet nature, but did she really not know how to defend herself? This worried him for a few seconds before he realized neither of them had spoken, causing him to pipe up nervously. "I, uh.. I can't train you one on one now, Splashnose, but I can assign somebody to mentor you, if you're interested." He informed her, still worrying about how she would stand traveling. What if something attacked her..? He subtly shook his head and looked to her, waiting for a response with a polite but semi-forced smile.

Noel grinned as she watched Frostkit swat at the air as if it were a looming enemy. "I'm not sure if you're going home or not. You'd have to ask Flamefall that one." She admitted with a shrug as she lay down, her upper half on the hay-stuffed nest. "Maybe we'll find you a new home. Wouldn't that be nice?" She tried to lift his spirits, as she knew her former statement would surely lower his mood.

Shaking her ruffled pelt clear of the dirt that had dusted her golden fur and clung to her pelt, she raised her eyebrows at Sparrowpelt's words. Letting out a huff at the tom's insistence that she'd be dead if he were an enemy, she sent him a levelled gaze. "Keyword, kitty: if." She snarked, a bit grumpy that she had been caught off guard. Prepared to comment again, she glanced in his direction only to receive a mouthful of words from the other apprentice. Sparrowpaw- feeling extra cocky, or something- lunged at her, knocking her down to the floor causing her to wince. For a moment, she remained startled under his weight, before wrinkling her face in annoyance and attempted to squirm out of his grip. After struggling for a bit, she let out a low his and raised her still sheathed paw and swatted at his face, unsure of whether she should actually take his 'attack' seriously. "What're you even trying to accomplish, Sparrowpaw?" Goldenpaw wheezed out as she narrowed her eyes and puffed her cheeks out in exasperation.
