Adriana sighed. "I've seen your house. It stays a mess." She laughed, then grew serious. "I don't want you to fight."

Willowmina's eyes narrowed. "Well anyone that thinks that can take it up with me. You're a guest in my house. Nothing less. You're welcome to stay here."

Dresyn shook his head. "I've been selected to fight, Adriana. I have to."

Majki shook his head. "I can't stay."

Adriana bared her teeth. "No. I won't let you. You're going to have to get through me to fight. I can't lose you." She blurted, then her eyes widened, shocked that she'd said that aloud.

Willowmina nodded in understanding. "All right. I understand."

Dresyn raised an eyebrow. He sighed and whispered, "You are not going to lose me."

Majki held out his hand to her. "Thank you for the offer and taking care of me."

Valentine put the open sign on her window. She sipped some of her tea.

Colby looked around as he walked down the street, a sly smile on his face. He passed Valentine's shop and went inside

Adriana looked up at him. "You could die, Dresyn." She flung her hands up. "Just..forget I said anything." She looked at him a moment before she got on her toes and kissed him. In shock, she jerked back, turned, and fled. She was good friends with Valentine, but when she saw someone go in there, she cursed and slowed down to a walk.

Willowmina shook his hand and smiled. "You're welcome here. Anytime."

Dresyn froze and watched her run. He couldn't believe it.

Valentine looked up with a smile. "Hello. How can I help you?"

Majki shook her hand. He nodded and looked around. "Thank you." He shifted and ran out.
