"What do you mean you can't? You can't kill the beast that tried to kill you? Have you used too much strength? Talk to me Hecate boy. If I need to do the deed, I will. Just give me the word." Angel said as the Empusa was shivering and twitching from the pain. She was able to open her mouth, but nothing came out except for silent screams. The girl didn't like the sight either, but this was kind of their job when on quests, to kill whatever attacks them in hope that it won't attack any other campers for a long time. Gripping her sword, she sighed and looked down at the once laughing and cocky being. He's very powerful. Reiven could probably do this quest alone if he could control his powers fully and had correct training. Luckily for me he's not scary enough to drive me away. She thought as she looked at she friend, then to the open outdoors where she wondered where the Pegasi ran off to.

"Please... Just get rid of it"
His words were almost whimpered as his strength finally gave out, his hand dropping to his side and his knees buckling. Were it not for the wall behind him, he would have found himself lying on his back - as it was, he sat down heavily, his head banging painfully agaisnt the wall behind him, making his vision dance and blur. Exhaustion swelled in his senses, almost overwhelming him entirely and making the edges of his vision grow dark.

With a swift nod, she did it. Angel turned the beast over and placed her sword where it's heart would lay. She watched as it turned into ashes, all it left behind was a necklace it wore hidden under the shirt. Picking it up she wiped it off and placed it into her pocket. "A necklace to remind us of this day until we die. Let's leave now Reiven, I don't like seeing you like this." Angel said, her voice and tone cold and tough as memories were appearing within her head. Funny how a necklace from a beat she just met could bring up memories from her past. She stood where she was, waiting for him to leave first.

[Inspector_Javert]

"Give me... A few minutes"
He said softly, coughing and grimacing as he did so. Dark rings had formed under his eyes, aging him greatly and making him look less like the goofy pubescent kid he was.
"Maybe... A few hours..."
He let out a low groan, before retching emptily to one side, wiping his mouth on the back of his hand. The smell of the empusa's ashes was making him feel sick.

Walking over to her friend, she grabbed him by the arm and lead him outside. No need for him to wait inside and continue staring at the deed that's been done. After she leaded him into the fresh air, she closed the barn doors and put on her backpack once more. She put the necklace into it and her sword and dagger back into their holsters on her belt. The girl sighed and pulled out a granola bar. Angel was stressed with worries and how the Pegasi were, therefore she needed to eat. Looking up at the sky she heard rustling from the bushes, quickly pulling out her sword she watched as the Pegasi came out from the forest. Putting her weapon away, she looked at Reiven. "We have guests."

He leaned against her slightly , stumbling along by her side. He was yawning widely, his dull sword clutched in his hand.
"Mmmm? Who is it?"
He said softly, not really paying attention to her or hsu surroundings.

Angel smiled and pulled out a sleeping bag from her backpack and laid it down, then laying Reiven on it. "You're tired, just sleep okay? I'll wake you up in the morning for us to keep moving. I guess we need a break after all. I'm going to be around this area, if you need me just scream." She said as she tucked him in and gave him a pillow from her bag. Walking off she went to the Pegasi who seemed to be calling for her. Following them deeper into the woods she saw one that was hurt. Her heart clenched as she pulled out some bandages and anti-bacterial liquid, her mom always told her to keep some on her no matter the situation. She dropped down her backpack and slowly moved towards it only to sit near it's belly where she could tend to it's bleeding leg. While working she naturally talked to them, she loved animals and always felt like they listened and cared. "I'm sorry that you got hurt. I hope that this will heal in a week or two, try not to move so much for a while until you stop feeling pain and everything seems normal. I wonder where you guys come from, we have Pegasi at camp but I never see them no matter how much I think your species is amazing. I just never want to hurt one, so I'm kind of surprised to find myself healing one right now. I wish I could hear what you're thinking or even saying. Poseidon and his children are said to be able to communicate with you, but sadly his demigod children aren't here to help me in that area." Angelica rambled as she then finished tending to the cut and gently pet the pegasus's side. "You are all so beautiful, just like my mother. She loved Greek Mythology, her favorite creature was the Pegasi. When she learned that my father was a Greek God she was so excited to learn from him. She would of loved to meet you all, sadly she's dead now. I wish she was alive. I wish she could be here right now. I know how much she would of loved it." The girl said, realizing that they probably could care less about her past. Tears fell as she told them, "I'm so sorry, I've wasted your time with my stupid rambling! Why am I so awful at this? The fact that Reiven hasn't ran away is surprising." The Pegasi neighed and came closer as a group, forming a circle around her. To her it was a protective circle, a circle where she felt happy. Smiling at them she wiped her eyes and gently touched them all lovingly for her mother and her.

He had nodded and yawned softly, not really awake enough to respond to what she had said. He closed his eyes, dozing off almost instantly.

When he woke, he realised she was not by his side and at first he panicked. Then he sat up and looked around - noting the Pegasis milling around. Smiling softly, he got to his feet.

The girl couldn't help but to feel drawn to one that reminded her of her favorite movie as a child. The biggest reason was because of how standoffish it was, as if it disliked humans or has never met one before. Quietly she lifted her hand in front of it, wanting it to give her the okay to touch it. She assumed that it was a male as he seemed to be one of the bigger Pegasi and in animal logic, usually the males tend to be larger than the females in her opinion. Curious as well the pegasus touched her hand with his black muzzle and stood up, flapping it's wings a bit. "You're absolutely gorgeous." She said in shock, making the pegasus stand a little prouder from the compliment as if he already knew that he was a gorgeous pegasus. Angel stood up and gently touched his forehead down to his muzzle gently. It had black socks, a light brown coat and a black mane and tail as well. Yep, definitely looks like him. I'll refer to him as Little Creek now. Getting pulled away from her thoughts she looked around at the Pegasi. "Would you like to come with me to go check on my friend? I might have something you'd like in my bag that I can give you after we go check on him. He wasn't feeling to well." She told them and they all seemed to like the idea of food as she grabbed her bag and dipped her hand into it, finding some treats. She pulled out a few apples, her favorite fruit personally therefore she always kept them on hand. Luckily for her too these were fresh. She walked over to Reiven and saw that he was awake and tossed him one. "Eat up, it's my turn to sleep soon."

He almost didn't catch the apple, still groggy from his sleep. He bit into the fruit, smiling softly to himself at the sweet taste, moving to sit on a fallen log.
"Sorry... I've never tried to do that before. I didn't realise it would make me so exhausted"
He said softly, finishing his apple and licking his fingers to re ove the sticky juice that had run into them.
