Went back to work today after a few weeks off, got to see the little kittens all us nurses helped hand raise! And oh how much they have grown!!!

This was them about a week after they were found and given to our clinic
Image

And this is them now, both 8 weeks old, last time I saw them they were 5 weeks. They are a bit small for their age but sooooo affectionate and adorable!

This is Crumpet, the girl. She loves to touch your face with her little feet and lick/nuzzle your chin! Also very fond of necklaces and shirt collars! When she was younger, she was very adorable after drinking milk from a bottle. She would look very content, little bulging belly, milk all over her mouth and she had these massive eyes which she has grown into!

Image

And this is Waffle, the male. He is very wiggly and tries to run out of the cage each time you open it! Though he does like to look around at his surroundings and sniff your face! He complained the loudest when he was younger for food!

@chickpea what are you feeding him for his meals?
Even if what you're giving him is only for treats, its incredibly selfish to get an obligate carnivore and then feed it a vegan diet based on your own ideals. If you want an animal that doesn't eat meat, go get a rabbit. Vegan diets kill cats, and it is abuse.
Meat will be a higher value for him, and better for him, too.

They feed commercial vegan wet and vegan kibble.
They've been told before the dangers of feeding cats a vegan diet, but they don't seem to care.

this is true, your suppose to feed cats a meat diet, that what makes a cats bones strong and healthy, as you said its selfish to think about what you think, this cat owner sholud have done a little more research about what cats eat, im not a cat owner myself, im getting one one in spring but i still have alot of research to do, never EVER get your cat to a vegan diet! its very dangerous, and its creul. :\

Gonna post a form here because I forgot to before!

Lex owned by CaligulasPeri is a neutered, male, black bombay cat! He is going to be 12 in a few months, and has been with me since he was 6 months old. He loves to play with wiggly things like string and feathers, but isn't too interested in balls and laser pointers- he wants something that can easily fit in his mouth! He's an outdoor cat, and spends most of his time napping in the garage or on the washing pile next to the radiator. He's an old man now, and all the fur under that black is grey if you part it. His favourite food is honey roast ham slices <3
Been on the search for a Plumerian for 2 years, 3 months! If anyone has one that they dont want any more, I’ll be happy to work for it! I wont give up! :D
Also on the search for a Kalon, but I wanna work on getting my hands on a plumey first <3

Thank you! I'm probably going to write more about him, because I never get to talk about my baby ;w;

Every days he comes on the dog walk with us around the parsnip field- if we go too far and he cant catch up, he'll yell till you come back and pick him up. He brings home strange things like rocks and tiny parsnips, and sometimes even eggs from the neighbours coop, because he's too old and slow to catch mice and birds now, but he still wants to give gifts.

The dog is absolutely terrified of him and I honestly dont know why, the worst he's ever done to him is bat him on the backside with sheathed claws, but now poor Buddy steps away from his own food whenever Lex wants some. He's a full grown lab! His best friends were a pair of rats called Dory and Kirby, who unfortunately died of old age 3 years ago. They had figured out how to open up their cage, so Lex would sneak in whenever he could and steal their food, then he'd sit there and groom them for hours and take naps in their newspaper pile.

I'll add more when I think of it <3 <3

Alright guys, I could use some help.
My kitten, Spike (I don't know if I ever told you guys what I decided to name him) is about 11 weeks old now.
He is playful, energetic, cuddly and affectionate. The only problem that I have is his biting. It seems to just be getting worse.
I have never played with him with my hands, so that isn't the issue. Whenever he bites, I either ignore him completely, make a noise and ignore him, or put him down and walk away. None of this seems to be working at all!

What can I do to make this biting issue die down a bit? It's starting to frustrate nearly all of the house members.

(Also, I have an appointment to get him neutered on the 17th.)
