Shade {Nightkit}|tom|loner| tags; Frost, open
With a sigh Shade realized that his sister would soon be returning. He was about to turn around when he saw under the thin ice sheet a glimmer of movement. The black tom thrust his paw onto the ice. The fish, tired from it's hibernation did don't move in time. As Shade threw it onto the ice it began to crack, fearing it might fall through he took it up in his teeth. The cat frowned at his catch. It was small for a common sunfish, which was not big whatsoever. But it was the best catch the tom had managed to scrape together in moons. Deciding the trail of fish blood would lead hungry badgers, foxes, and those dreaded clan cats. Shade shuddered. He wasn't sure whether it was from the cold or the though of clan cats. The tom had grown to despise them. It's not right for cats to live in groups. Outside of blood ties of course! Shade's thoughts made him extend his claws. Picking up his catch Shade returned.
