Kukuipaw silently made his way over to Emberlight and sat beside her. He said nothing, just stared at her, waiting for her to notice him.

Orchidstripe sniffed the air, scenting Yellowpaw, his mentor and Salmonpaw. "Hey.. The other patrol hasn't gone far.. Do you think something is wrong?" She looked worried, glancing back at Sootstripe.

Yellowpaw nearly fell over from the weight of the prophecy and Salmonpaw's nudge. "Th-They gave me a prophecy.." He looked up at Cinderstar slowly, his fur now standing on end. "And.. Fallowstar said something about.. a-about me training to become the next medicine cat.."

Cinderstar flattened her ears. The presence of a medicine cat would mean that there would be battles, and a need for a closer relationship to Starclan. "..What was the prophecy?" She listened closely as her apprentice told her. "And who would train you, Collette?"

Yellowpaw nodded solemnly. "That's what Fallowstar said." He watched as his mentor nodded.

"Let's get back to camp, I need to call a meeting."

Sootstripe scented the air as well and nodded. "You're right. They should have moved farther along by now. Let's go see what they're up to." He turned around and began walking in the direction of the other patrol.

Orchidbreeze followed him and glanced around to see if Minnowpaw was also following. She was pretty curious about the patrol since it contained their leader. "I hope they're not in danger.."

Minnowpaw frowned when he heard that the other patrol hadn't moved. "Maybe they stopped to hunt?" He sounded unsure as he padded behind the warriors. He hoped his sister was ok. Trust it to be the one patrol that they weren't together on that ran into troublle.

Salmonpaw

"How can a starclan cat train you Yellowpaw? You're alive," Salmonpaw mewed, flicking her tail in confusion. What did a medicine cat do anyway. The stories said they looked after the clan, and talked to Starclan, but didn't Cinderstar do that anyway?
