Well hi guys! I'm Lunar. As you can see I love doing genderbent cosplays. My favourite way of making cosplays is by editing existing clothing and making the accessories myself. It's a great way to give a new life to an old piece of clothing you no longer wear!

I usually only go to NZCC, as that's my closest one. And even though I'm probably gonna be studying in the south island. since I missed feb intake, I'm going to have to miss the south island cons.

Do you buy your costumes, or make them yourself? there is very little 'making'. I buy the clothing items like sunglasses or shirts, but they are seldom designed for cosplay
What was your first costume? probably Old King Cole. I was very young
What is your favorite costume that you've done? I don't have a lot of choices, but probably my 12th doctor cosplay for a Children In Need charity day. I had the suit, sonic screwdriver, sonic sunglasses and I even sprayed my hair with temporary dye to make it greyish.

I'm going to assume the problem with the female characters is that you are male, correct me if I'm wrong though ^^ You could always cross-play or genderbend maybe? I'm female and I've altered quite a few characters into fem! versions. Plenty of people personify nonhuman characters too, my roommate has done My Little Pony, and one of my best friends did Togepi.
