"Oh yes they will, they'll be quite comfortable," Sootflower replied, mumbling through the patch of fur in her mouth. She spat it out next to her, some of the hairs still sticking to her tongue. "Ah, this is disgusting," She spat as she wiped her tongue with her paw. "Why do I always make this mistake?!" She shook her head at herself, looking down at the half-naked squirrel below her. She had stripped it of basically all its fur by this time, so hopefully she could finish without ruining my appetite. She looked over at Mysticwater's blackbird longingly. Sure, the squirrel would probably have a bit more meat, but at least the feathers of the bird were useful. Unlike the matted, stick-to-everything squirrel hairs she had already torn off the animal.

(I should wait for Fallstorm, but how to get Fallstorm to leave camp and meet up, or get into leafclan camp. His fever seemed to come fast... Wonder what from?)

"Ooh, looks like it's time to eat." Sootflower's stomach rumbled looking at the fresh kill pile, she hadn't realized how hungry she was. It was so easy for her to forget to eat lately, since her mind was being eaten up with worry. Worry about her brother, about those that were missing, about what would happen to her... She shook her head, shaking off the dark thoughts. It was time to eat soon, once the kits and queens finished. She liked waiting for them, as she was never really picky about what she ate anyways. "Ready to eat?" She asked, looking over to Mysticwater. "Looks like it's just about time, and I'm just about starving to death." She laughed, standing up. She shook out her pelt, which had a bit of dirt in it from sitting and laying so long on the ground. "What do you think you'll have?" She asked Mysticwater, her mind set on the food now.

Sandwhisker smiled, it was kind of his clanmate to help comfort him. Everyone knew how controlling and overbearing his sister could be; it was no secret to anyone. Probably everyone had fallen victim to her controlling ways at least once. "Thanks, Feralclaw," Sandwhisker said, appreciating the kindness of the cat next to him. Feralclaw had always been a good friend, and a kind clanmate. "How are you doing with everything?" Sandwhisker asked, looking to the cat next to him. The sun was setting, and it was nearly dark-- We probably better get back to the camp soon... Sandwhisker thought to himself. He didn't want to be outside the camp while it was dark, nothing really felt safe anymore, least of all the forest at night. "We should head back to camp," Sandwhisker said to Feralclaw, standing up and flicking his tail. "It's probably not a good idea to be out here when it gets dark..." he trailed off, thinking of his missing clanmates.

"I guess i'm okay." FeralClaw replied, looking at Sandwhiser. The long haired tom stood up aswell and raised his head with a small sigh. "It probably isn't. We should maybe head back to camp now.." He meowed, taking a step closer to Sandwhisker. As it was getting dark, FeralClaw felt a little more safer by his clanmate.

Sandwhisker padded a few steps forward, and froze mid-stride. There was a scent, he couldn't quite place what it was but he knew he shouldn't be smelling it... what was it? "FeralClaw," Sandwhisker whispered. He knew what it was, why couldn't he figure it out? "Feralclaw, I smell some.... one," he growled, finally placing the scent. It was one of the rogue cats and he was close by. "It's one of the rogue cats," He growled, fur standing up on his large frame. "Do you see him? He's close by." Sandwhisker looked around, trying to find the rogue cat. He shouldn't be on their land, and he was going to regret it, Sandwhisker would make sure of that.

Mysticwater chuckled. "I'll be sure to remind you next time." She mewed, as she continued plucking the feathers. "The problem with blackbirds is that even though the feathers can be useful, it's take a long time to get all the feathers out.

(Hmm I wonder... XD )

Sandwhisker padded a few steps forward, and froze mid-stride. There was a scent, he couldn't quite place what it was but he knew he shouldn't be smelling it... what was it? FeralClaw's fur fluffed up slowly as he smelled the scent of a strange cat aswell, but for some reason it was very faint to him. "I don't see anyone, but i aswell smell someone.." The long haired tom growled lightly, cautiously looking around; but making sure to stay close to Sandwhisker incase of an attack.

Meadowpaw followed Frostfeather, fear slowly creeping up on her. As she look down at the bloody scene beneath her, a scream slowly started forming in her throat. She dropped out of the tree and prayed to Starclan as she rushed over to her brother's body that he wasn't dead. Touching her nose to his fur, a wail escaped her lips when she felt the icy claws of death. Shocked, she lay there, desperation piercing through her.

Larksnow shook her head. "Tigermoon, you want to go hunting?"

Thornpaw followed Rose, fear and curiosity coursing through him.

Nightwhisper glanced up at her. "My injuries aren't that serious.. But I will, if you insist." He moved closer to lean on her, his heart jumping when their pelts brushed. "You know, I wouldn't be like this if you had put in a few swipes here and there." He smirked, teasing her.

Bramblekit purred happily when his brother mentioned him.

Sparkpelt chuckled softly, setting the rabbit down in front of his mate. "Well, it was a good choice."

Torn watched Sandwisker and Feralclaw finally become aware he was there, but not where he was.

"Yes, I hope they're fine and return soon" she mewed careful not tell about the prophecy, and cause a panic. Then she remembered about Slash telling her to work on working out the prophecy, and her mind wondered.

"Excuse me for a little Rani I'm going to get something to eat" she mewed padding out of the den, but the scent of Slash made her change direction. She padded toward him, What happened to him?! she panicked before dragging him to the healer den. Thank goodness there's space she thought getting him into the den, and to a old nest. "Rani, please get some fresh moss for a nest" she mewed before pushing her nose to Slash's, Fever, then she padded quickly to the medicine storage. "Feverfew, feverfew, feverf.." she mewed to herself, "We're out!" she growled to herself before padding back to Slash. "Stay calm I'll be right back" she mewed to him before dashing out of the den. After getting into the forest she halted, "I never learned where to get it.... Leafclan must have some" she thought as she picked up her pace to get to the border. At the border she picked her way carefully as she followed the scent of a cat that was on Slash. She noticed two cats near the border, but crept around them to continue following their scent. "I wonder where their herbs are stored?" she whispered before pausing to get a better trail of their scent.

She followed the scent until could smell the scent of a few cats. "I think somewhere around here is the place where they all stay.

Forestpaw demonstrated how to collect moss, then he worked with her to gather enough for the nest. "That should be enough" he mewed before picking up his bundle, and padding back into camp and the apprentice den. He help her make the best, but froze when she asked him about the missing cats. What if she wanted to leave? But she needs to know? Would Leafstar want her to know? he thought hoping not to show that he was worried.

Leafpaw mimicked Forestpaw's actions until he said they had enough. She picked up her batch, and followed him back into camp and then the apprentice den. She worked with him to set up the nest, "Cats are missing from the clan?" she asked letting curiosity take over.

Frostfeather gazed down in shock, frozen to the branch. The sound of her apprentice's wail jolted her back to awareness. She quickly scented the air to see if the badger was near. They were close to the border, so she hoped that maybe it had crossed back over. After making sure that it had, Frostfeather padded over to Stormpaw and crouched down. "Help me get him over my shoulders." She mewed, softly.

Tigermoon glanced at the setting sun. "It's starting to get dark." He mewed. "We shouldn't go out while it's dark. And beside, I think Frostfeather and Meadowpaw went out already."

Leafstar flattened her ears and looked away. "Sorry about that." She mewed.

Bluesoul smiled at both of her kits. "Well done, both of you." She carefully tore off a piece of the rabbit and Kaye's it infront of Bramblekit before doing the same for Thunderkit.

Thunderkit grinned at his brother purr. He had cheered him up. He silently thanked Starclan before taking a bite of the rabbit.
