Nightwhisper wriggled out of the way, kicking out with his hind legs to try and catch his flank. He growled and moved to stand up straight again. "Don't make me draw blood, Slash."

Bramblekit pouted even more. "That doesn't mean a thing."

Sparkpelt mrrowed in laughter, letting her tail go. "I love you~"

Slash stood up as well, once again facing the deputy. "You think I fear blood?" Suddenly his vision blurred. Slash blinked and shook his head to clear it. He blinked again as his vision returned.

Thunderkit flattened his ears as he realized he didn't know how to comfort his brother.

Bluesoul purred. "I know."

NIghtwhisper had sheathed his claws again, noticing Slash was having issues. It was against the warrior code to attack any cat with cruelty. "No. So let's talk instead." He had known that Leafstar was holding back behind him for a reason, so he assumed it was because of this.

Bramblekit sighed softly, pawing at a plump rabbit. "This is why you'll be the warrior and I'll be the medicine cat."

Sparkpelt flicked his tail. "Oh, mean. You won't even say it back."

Thunderkit sighed. "I'm sorry." He mewed, not knowing what else to say.

Bluesoul chuckled, standing up. She pressed her nose to his. "I love you too."

Having recovered, Slash glared at Nightwhisper. "I don't need words to beat you." He said as he launched himself at the deputy, hoping to give him a slash to remember before he could run back to his own territory and figure out what was going on with him. Even though it was a warm green leaf evening, he felt like he was stuck in the middle of Leafbare. He felt his muscles weakening, but he pushed them to their limit, to defeat Nightwhisper.

Bramblekit just shrugged. "Help me with this rabbit, mom will love it."

Sparkpelt purred happily. "That may be true, but I love you more."

Nightwhisper didn't have much time to react, but there was still time to land on his back and roll over again so he could pin the weaker tom under him with his large paws. "You're weak, Slash!" He could see through his tough cat act.

Larksnow finished off the mouse and cleaned her fur, standing up and stretching afterwards. Spotting Tigermoon, she flicked her tail in greeting. "Isn't wonderful how much the clan is growing?"

Meadowpaw; Tags: Frostfeather
Picking up the rabbit, she started padding back to Frostfeather. She dropped the rabbit in front of her mentor and caught a whiff of blood and badger. She turned to Frostfeather and asked, "I think I smell badger. Should we check it out?"

Thornpaw; Tag: Rose
Thornpaw started to head back to Leafclan, thinking about whether to leave or not. He spotted a Deathclan cat at the border and knew instantly what he was going to do. Padding up to the she-cat, he meowed, "I'm Thornpaw. I want to leave my old clan and join Deathclan. I have nothing left there. They've taken everything from me. What do I have to do?"

"You know, I never really got the taste for fish like you did. It's definitely not for me. " Sootflower laughed, thinking about the first time she had eaten fish. It was probably one of the grossest things she had tasted-- most cats loved it, but for some reason she hated it. The taste made her retch every time she even smelled the animal's meat. "I'll just take whatever," Sootflower replied, padding forward to the pile. She searched around through the small animals, looking for something that would suit her tastes that day-- a squirrel! That sounded perfect. She picked the squirrel up and padded over to an area by the walls of the clan camp where she could take some time to de-fur the squirrel. There was so much fur on them that it was hard to eat for a while, until you got some of the fur out of the way.

Thunderkit nodded. "Okay." He mewed, padding over to grab the other end of the rabbit.

Bluesoul rolled her eyes at him. Her deep blue eyes were full of the love that she felt for him.

Slash was panting now. "I'm still strong enough to beat you!" She spat. With every ounce of his diminishing strength, he heaved upward, knocking the other cat off of him. his muscles trembling, Slash looked around for an escape route. He was close to the border. Would he be able to make it without them catching up? He decided to take the chance, he turned and for the first time in his life, fled from the battle.

Tigermoon flicked his ear, acknowledging her greeting. "Hmph. If you call half the Warriors and apprentices going missing as growing, then sure."

Mysticwater chuckled softly. She followed Sootflower to the pile and picked out her blackbird. She sat beside the she-cat and began carefully plucking the feathers from the bird. "These will make good nest liners." She commented.

Torn watched Sandwisker and Feralclaw carefully as he took in what they were saying.

"Yes, I hope they're fine and return soon" she mewed careful not tell about the prophecy, and cause a panic. Then she remembered about Slash telling her to work on working out the prophecy, and her mind wondered.

Rose looked at the clan cat she was surprised from his sudden appearance, and question. "I can take you there, but I'm no Deathclan cat. So I'm not for sure what you'll have to do, but while we walk would you like to talk about why you have nothing left?" she rambled from being surprised.

Forestpaw lead the way out of camp, and to the tree area he liked to collect moss from. He sat down and waited for her to catch up.

Sparkpelt looked about the same, batting at her.

NIghtwhisper allowed himself to be knocked off, wanting to haul off and pin him down. The warrior code and his leader's presence made it so he wouldn't throw himself off the edge. "Coward!" He growled, his claws flexing into the ground. "Shall I chase him?"
