lol my mom just destroyed any hope I had of coming out to her as being lgbt. this is great. I literally feel like crying right now. I don't belong anywhere

if she doesn't realize how wonderful you truly are then she's not worth the wait. don't wait around for her to come around and wait for acceptance, it's not worth it. if she can't see how wonderful you are and how beautiful you are, just by being yourself, then that's on her. hang in there. there are some people that are going to put you down like so and try to make you feel bad about yourself, but there are also people out there who will accept you for who you are and will be able to see past all your flaws, all your perfections, and will believe and know that you are a gift. you are precious. you are worth everything in the entire world. if someone can't see that? go spend time with someone else because you deserve better. you do belong somewhere, you do. don't say those things, trust me, it will only lead to more depressing thoughts. but there's one place you don't belong. you don't belong in a place where people won't accept you for who you are. you don't belong in a place where people treat you badly and make you feel bad just for being yourself. you belong in a place where people make you feel amazing about yourself. you belong in a place where there's acceptance. there are many places out there in the world, don't get your hopes down. you'll find someplace soon enough. stay strong, for all the people that care about you. <3 you're not alone, know this. many people struggle with this. but don't let these problems interfere with your happiness, keep being yourself because you are wonderful just the way you are. don't change for anyone. you are unique. you are special. you are precious.

Well almost made a trip to the hospital or death. Had three (3) near missed car crashes. Because people want to be stupid on holidays. My neck hurts and I have a cut/bruise. But I'm fine but so upset and scared..

This is why I will never get behind the wheel of the car And my anxiety is through the roof .. great family day out.. now the drive home tomorrow... yay..

My birthdays have always sucked. I don't even tell people when it is anymore because of that. But I have learned that your birthday is not about having a party or folks doing things for you, it's about YOU!!

Stay home, stay in your pajamas, eat ice cream from the carton, watch shows that you pretend you don't like but secretly do, read a book, take a long bath... The list can go on and on. Basically, if you're going to be alone, make the most of it! Celebrate YOU, and enjoy it!

If a party is important, make sure your family and friends know it. Maybe the can give you a party on a different date. That way, you could have the best of both worlds!

Try to think on the good stuff you can do on your own, that you never get to do, and who knows? You may have your new favorite tradition!!

To both of you I'll say what was said to me when I had my heart broken last year: don't settle to be with someone who's going to treat you like that.

Vlos, I would sever ties as much as you can because it's only going to hurt you staying friends with him. You don't need someone in your life who's going to flip back and forth at the drop of a hat like that, you deserve someone who's consistent, steady and reliable.

Lumi, the same to you- you deserve better than someone who breaks up with you when you ask a simple and valid question. You deserve someone steady that you can have a rational conversation with without wondering if they're going to explode and do something drastic like this. No relationship should be based on one person walking on eggshells.

In short, it's easy for me to say it and hard for you both to stick to it, but you both deserve much, much better than what you've been given. Stay strong and you can PM me if you need to. <3

Does anyone know what you can do to help an ear infection not hurt?
My friend went to the doctor yesterday and he found out he has a double ear infection, and he keeps saying it hurts.
He has his medication that was given to him, but should he ice it or put heat on his ears?
Any help would be much appreciated!! <3

edit: I've got him putting a warm cloth up to his ear. I've heard that helps.

Heat.

I've had a lot of ear infections in my life, and the treatments are always as follows. I take a piece of cotton, roll it up and dip it into boric acid and plug my ears with it. I have to keep them plugged until the pain stops, which means no listening to music (in some cases of the infection, music can actually irritate it even more), and constantly keeping my ears warm.
If they ready got medication, then just use that, but make sure to keep the ears warm, and maybe even plug them with some cotton to prevent anything unwanted from getting in there. Do not use earbuds or anything like that, as it can lead to more bacteria in the ears, and do not clean them with cotton swabs as you can irritate the area.
