Coming off as a rather laid-back sort of doll with a tolerant, even dismissive attitude toward most things, she's quite skilled at blending in. Or at least she thinks she is.
She tries her hardest to not be particularly reclusive or particularly social. Her time is very precisely allotted to socializing in Dollhouse common areas, typing up a storm in her room, and actually getting out there and being The Anisopteran, a scientific term for dragonflies that she quite brashly chose as her public identity. (Who could blame her? The press originally dubbed her 'Thumbelina'.)
While inwardly rather fierce, Gale is quite good at keeping her 'fun & cool tech geek' image in most Dollhouse situations. She particularly enjoys showing off some technical wizardry to other dolls. To that effect, her hair is usually down over her ears and shoulders, and she wears something loose and comfortable over her costume. Unfortunately, she also has the tendency to lay on the 'cool' too thick, use a little too much slang or lingo, be a little too dismissive, that sort of thing.
Luckily, when this happens, Damsel is there to save her skin, so to speak. Damsel is a mentor and older sibling to Gale, perceptive but the kind that's a little bossy and a bit of a tease. They have their differences, but the bond is deep.
The phone charm shadow mainly communicates through an app in the doll's doll-size-appropriate and yet fully functional phone. Unlike the tricky Gale, they tend to be 'to the letter' when it comes to rules, and are quite adverse to loopholes (that Gale keeps finding). They are more legally minded, and a lot more enthusiastic about beating up criminals. What they really dislike though, is when Gale waves things off the way she tends to to look cool. They know better than anyone how much she cares.
Gale's free time, given that she has any, is mostly spent playing table tennis and other tabletop sports or games in the Dollhouse.

The Anisopteran is an elusive pixie-like crime fighter who appears to have less interest in upholding human laws than in doing what she thinks is right, or perhaps, what is in line with her goals. Through announcements via social media under account name Odonatans or similar, she has identified herself as female, though little else has been confirmed.
The Odonatans, as relayed by the Anisopteran, is a crime fighting pair of which she is one, the other being a certain 'Damsel' who has yet to appear in public. [...]
Less than ten inches tall, it is supposed that her powers include shrinking [*] as well as high-speed flight. There are no reports as of yet of size change. Likewise, any other abilities remain to be seen, though light and electrical manipulation has been speculated.
[The article goes on to make a huge deal of what little the Anisopteran has revealed to the public.]

tell me about them as a superhero/villain:
SUPERPOWERS: As a doll, her small size allows better mobility and a wider selection of hiding places. Coupled with her dragonfly-like agility and speed in flight, she is difficult to see, and even more difficult to catch. Surprisingly enough, the flashiness of her costume adds to the confusion rather than makes her easier to spot. In tight situations, she could make her costume emit a burst of blinding light.
Besides dragonfly-esque speed and reflexes, she also has dragonfly sight, which allows her to predict trajectories. Her visor further allows her to process more information about the identities of her opponents, what weapons they carry, and so forth.
OTHER ABILITIES/ADVANTAGES: She's well-versed in human (and possibly other lifeforms) technology. Her headquarters in the Dollhouse are also untrackable.
WEAKNESSES: As a doll, breakage is always a trouble. She works especially hard to keep people from seeing that she cracks rather than bleeds when damaged. She has particular trouble with wind and weather and honestly doesn't really pack a punch on her own and depends on the tools in the surrounding area.
ALIGNMENT: Neutral[?] Let's just say that she isn't particularly for human rules and refuses to be exclusively for the police. In her own words: "Let's just say I'd like to take over earth, same as a lot of supervillains. So why do I fight crime? Because when I do take over, I want to have something left to rule."
METHODS: Trickery, for the most part. She does a lot of research before going out to handle supervillains, and more often than not makes up for her size with gadgets.
Her costume designed to hide her dollishness, she has pretty much every human she's had an interaction with think that she's either a fairy or a superhero with the ability to shrink.
