Ella stood up and walked inside. She couldn't find Carter then went up to his office. Knocking the door, Ella waited for a response.

[Boomer]

"Come in." mumbled Carter, not wanting to wake Taz.

Ella opened the door and saw Taz asleep. ''I'm sorry for not telling you Carter.'' Ella muttered.

[Boomer]

"It's fine Ella." he said, still working on the paperwork, "I was scared."

''I would've been too. I know you love animals, especially the ones here. And I love it here too. I should've been so stupid.'' Ella said.

[Boomer]

"It's okay." he said, "Don't worry about it..." He then paused for a moment. "Uh, are you gonna take Alex?" he asked.

''Maria wants to go. I think she doesn't want to be near him. I might wait until two or three days as I can bring Maria with me to talk with Alex.'' Ella sighed

[Boomer]

"Oh, okay." he said, "Cause I can get the form if you need it."

''I know,'' Ella said. She just hoped Taz hadn't told Carter about her crying outside.

[Boomer]

Carter nodded a little. "I bet Maria wants to feed Rebecca and Jacqueline." he said, "She didn't bring them along."
