using pain. Fire is my life. Always has been and always will be. Fire is one of the most uncontrollable forces in the world... and I
, Ocellatus, can do just that. No, i'm not a god. No, I don't inherit any element abilities - overtime I just simply learned how it w
orks. How it can do whatever you want if you ask nicely enough - how it can give you power, a career - or how it can go wrong a
nd be your worst nightmare. With loves come hate, right? is it true the opposite? or with hate does only more hate come
of it? In a world where what you like often is misunderstood by others, sometimes we need to remember it's just that - that the
problem is not with us but the world. Fire eating comes with it's cons, from the accidently slip when the flame licks your skin, t
o the opinions and hate of others. Though it often gets to me i know that their opinions will never bring me down, because fire
is what makes me feel alive, and i will never go down any other way. I remember that first moment vividly, and often replay it
in my head. I was never one to care, a heart full of love is only destined to break. But we all have that one person that changes
us. He was that person. He lit that flame in me and the walls I've built, they all fell down for him. He was different - so differen
t. I lost it, I lost him. It wasn't my fault. I didn't mean to - i messed up. It was going so well, but i held the torch the wrong way
and got burnt. I did the last thing i should have, i dropped it. It set the carpet on fire, and it was only a matter of seconds befo
re the room was engulfed. He was trapped upstairs. Because of my mistake. Everybody thinks i did it on purpose, but why? why
would I? It haunts me to this day. I wish somehow you were here with me. My life was good until that point. I started doin my f
ire manipulation acts a lot more often, and have gotten even better. You'd think I would hate fire after everything, but I only l
ike it more. You'd think i'd fear it - but it's not so much fear as I just understand how powerful it is, and just of gentle you need
to treat it. I still to this day blame myself for his death, and I think about him often - in fact more often than I probably should. ❞
