I have a question for you hoarders out there, though. when you've finished a hoard, what do you do with it? do you keep it in a locked group forever, or do you trade it away?

I usually just keep it in a locked group, because otherwise if I left it WL locked or just open, I would get trades for them and I don't want that.
But I have traded away a few of my completed hoards, because I just lost my connection with them.
Like last night, I got rid of 5 small starting out hoards, because I just didn't like them anymore, and I thought to myself what did I even see in them in the first place?

{I agree with L.V.L, I do think it depends on the hoard. I haven't finished a hoard since becoming active again on CS, but I did have several completed hoards from before. I did have them WL locked but I just disbanded all but one. It's still WL locked, however I think I should just lock it because I don't really want to trade it, at least for now. So it definitely just depends on the hoard.}
{On that note, I finally made a new group for potential hoards, though I'll be finishing at least most of my limited hoards before starting those.}

Has anyone had a hoard dedicated to some kind of song? I am thinking of hoarding all the 2015 Butterfly storepets for this song: X and like name the pets the lyrics?

I mostly name pets after songs, I'm yet to find an actual litter of like to hoard for a song or stuff
Music is a good hoard inspiration though xD

I keep them forever! I hoard pets because I like the design of them, and i want to see a page or two of them.

song by cake bake betty, another named for the muse album, and my dark grey tag
huskies are all named after classical composers.

i have my burnt rice hoard based on the song by shawn wasabi. theyre named after the lyrics as well! i am also working on my bet you wish hoard based on this song. the former is done, the latter isnt.

My little black cat scooter died a year ago and I'd like to make a little hoard for him.

I'm not sure whether to hoard ravens or the black sitting warrior cats? I'm having no luck with either and people aren't willing to give any up and I have no fodder like at all XD

There are plenty of black cats you could pick as a hoard, the two you seem to have picked are the most high demand.
There's black cats ranging from very common to omgsr, if you're struggling, look through the archive

This one is pretty! It's a very common from June 2013, it shouldn't be hard to find so you can make a really nice large tribute hoard.
