Fox relaxed a tiny bit, completely relieved by the fact that this was the end of it. He was sure he wouldn't be wandering again, not anytime soon..! "Yes, ma'am..!" he answered, trotting alongside her quietly. He stuck close, silent for a while, before speaking in a hushed voice, "What kind of dangerous stuff is out here..?" He knew of the obvious dangers, but there were some things he was still curious about.

The pale gray and white tabby she-cat answered calmly, albeit pretty quiet. "There could be rogues. And in my experience, rogues can be extremely violent."

Understanding, Fox gave a tiny nod. Why would anyone be out to hurt another cat? He supposed growing up to be a surgeon apprentice certainly didn't help that viewpoint, but it baffled him that anyone could be so violent! Even the strongest cats in their camp weren't terribly scary! Fox pressed closer to Rain, giving a nervous glance over his shoulder, "Did you ever meet a rogue?"

Ｒａｉｎ Ｔｈａｔ Ｆａｌｌｓ Ｑｕｉｅｔｌｙ
"Fox, my parents were rogues. They had done so many awful things, so many terrible things that I'd much rather not bring up." Rain answered, continuing to walk home. As they walked, she noticed she had dropped the herbs as she ran for Fox, and carefully picked them up.

Fox flinched, not realizing he had addressed such a sore subject. He should have known..! But... had Rain mentioned it before? All the same, he dipped his head in sorry reverence, taking a step away from his mentor. Noticing the dropped herbs, Fox took them, mumbling a soft, "No, I can carry them..!"

Ｒａｉｎ Ｔｈａｔ Ｆａｌｌｓ Ｑｕｉｅｔｌｙ
"Alright." The pale gray and white tabby she-cat replied, letting her apprentice take the herbs. Maybe later, I could tell him about the things they had done. It's not like it's a touchy thing for me anyway, it would be for Rumble, he was closer to them than I was.

Fox was unusually quiet, the bounce lost from his step as he followed Rain back to camp. It was rare that he did something that got him in trouble, but he even knew that it was wrong and did it anyway..! He felt like he had definitely messed up, and it would be a little bit before he was back to being himself.

Reaching their den, Fox put all the herbs gently in their place, making sure to be extra careful with them so as not to break anything.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest nodded his head in response, even though a hint of worry for his lieutenant made him hesitate. He hoped that Gaze did not sprain anything from the fall. The captain would definitely feel responsible if that was the case. Tempest turned tail and started to run towards the barrier that closed off the isthmus from the mainland. He felt the transition from solid ground to sand, unsheathing his claws to get a better hold on the sandy terrain. If Gaze had raced him on this terrain, it would have turned out the other way around. His whiskers twitched with amusement at the thought of himself face-planting on the beach.

Moon that Glows Through Trees
Moon took one last glance towards the nursery where Night was probably waiting for her Freshkill before turning to follow Turtle willingly out through the ship's entrance. It was so exciting to her to be out with a warrior hunting at night. Especially when Tempest said there might be a rogue or a predator out and about! She found it so thrilling. Her blue fur reflected the moonlight, casting a solemn shadow with each step she took in the sand. The moon shone on the ocean in a lovely manner, the ripples of the waves lapping quietly at the beach. It was as if all time stood still. The birds stopped singing; the crickets stopped chirping; the whole forest seemed to stand in silence. Moon's large round eyes beamed with the opportunity that stood before her, sand flying out behind her with each stride. "Where are we going? I wanna see the lake!"

The brown tabby tom licked his paw some, trying to clean it off and find any cuts. Nothing was hurt, just a bit of a sprain paw after the fall. He shook the remaining dirt off his pelt and began to trot after to the path Tempest took, his head held high with pride, even after that fall.

"We're going to the barrier, past that are some amazing places to be. Flowers everywhere, it's beautiful." she murmured, trying to stay calm. She rushed the kit even more, pushing and shoving with her paw and muzzle. "We must hurry, or Night will get impatient."

Sun had stopped during the entire situation with Fox and Rain, staring up at the moon. The leaves seemed to bend out of the way, showing it's full beauty. But.. something was off. The tint of orange from the light unsettled the skinny tom, as he slunk into the ground. Something bad was going to happen, he could smell the scent of cats around him. He couldn't tell who they were, or where they were, just, that they were staring. He stepped back, and started to pad quickly back to the camp, spotting Rain and Fox already there. 'At least they're safe..' he thought, but he couldn't shake the thought of something bad off his mind.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Tempest slowed his pace to a gentle stride, enjoying the light breeze he could feel coming off the ocean nearby. The soothing lap of the waves on the beach was getting closer, though he still had a ways to walk before he came to the barrier. The sand under his paws was comforting and warmed from the sunset light. The lack of sun would eventually cool the land, making it the perfect temperature in his opinion for sleep. Sleep sounded like a wonderful idea in his mind, but hunting had to be done. He would rather he put himself in danger during a patrol than anyone else.

"Flowers? What kind of flowers? On the beach? Won't they be hard to see at night? What about hunting?" Another question would come to her every few minutes. Her excitement only increased at the fact they were going to the barrier. That was the place Tempest mentioned earlier, right? The she-kit bounced along with Turtle, ignoring the gentle shoves and encouraging pushes onward. Her mind was brimming with new stimuli, enjoying how the moonlight washed everything up in its gentle luminescence.
