About Them

Very little is known about Furin, as they are very shy by nature, and tend to keep
themselves hidden. They don't seem to bear any ill will towards humans, but rather live
in symbiosis with the people and nature around them.
They prefer pristine places, rather than busy cities, but have been found almost
anywhere in the world.

Within their own species they are playful and social, and usually crave company.


They watch over and protect places humans consider sacred and spiritual, mostly temples.
The better kept and the more of a following these places have, the bigger a furin can get.
These places are called their "domain".
They always carry a small lantern on their tails, but its shape and size can vary.
They can possess magic, usually related to one affinity, and associated with
the color of their lantern.
They usually have 6 legs and 4 eyes, and have no less, unless from an accident.
They're usually fluffy, with varying fur types, like cats.
All have the ability to float and hover in the air, but they can't go much higher than trees.
They are usually invisible to humans, but can make themselves known whenever they wish.
When they speak, they sound like wind chimes.

As of now it is unknown how they come to being, and whether or not they can breed.
There have ben rare sightings of babies, but they're currently a mystery.

They have been known to form groups or pairs, and can be any
gender, identity, or sexuality.

Furin watch over places and areas that humans consider sacred.

This usually means a temple or a holy place, but it's not limited to such.
A Furin's domain is any place that a single human regards as special.
It might be as grand as a cathedral, or as humble as a little girl's jewelry box.
It can be a small apartment, or an entire forest.

If it's precious to someone, a Furin can manifest to guard it.

Furin's size generally depends on the following of their domain. They can be as small as snakes, but are on average the size of house cats. They can grow to be as big as houses.

This is a closed species. You may not make your own.
Right now everyone may own up to 10 Furin.
You may not sell or trade your Furin! If you don't want it any longer, please let me know and I will put it back up for adoption.

Please no whining or complaining!
Be respectful of other community members, and staff!

You may use Furin anywhere, just as long as you give me credit!

Furin designs are allowed to be transferred with the permission of the original designer. However once a Furin is transferred, the user is not allowed to adopt any more!

For now only Red can make rare and up adopts, and customs are open only for artists at this time.

More rules pending nursery opening!
As of right now, I am not looking for staff, but that may change in the future!
