[name] Valdemar [nickname] Val [breed] oriental shorthair [age] two years [gender] tomcat [owner] faeryn [pelt] ebony black [eyes] light green, similar to faeryn's [size] eleven inches tall, rather large [notible markings] none [identifications] dark brown leather collar with faeryns initials engraved, triquetra charm.
Valdemar is a two-year-old purebred oriental shorthair. His lineage includes two purebred show cats, meaning he has the blood of champions running through his veins. He was bought at seven weeks old by a young lady who originally wanted to show him, however he was unruly with her leading to his abandonment at fifteen weeks old. He wandered the streets for days, scavenging for food. The skinny tom-cat became a nuisance in the community he ransacked, often chased out of alleyways, backyards and trash bins. He received several injuries from children throwing rocks at him from the comfort of their own yards. It wasn’t until he was a year old that Faeryn crossed his path. Immediately infatuated with the spirit of Faeryn he often followed her around, meowing quietly at her side. She had picked him up carefully and brought him back to his place, tending to his wounds. She cared for him there until he was completely healed. It was during this time that Valdemar learned of the wolf that resided in Faeryn. Unperturbed he stayed at her side as she began to explore the world around them. When she chose to leave the house where she lived, he chose to join her and has stayed at her side for the remainder of the time. He is extremely finicky about the people he allows to show him affection. His independent attitude is displayed only when others are around, however he will rarely leave Faeryn’s side.
