He opened his eyes and lifted his head. Once again refusing the tunic. "No thank you. You use it." Hanzar said calmly before he shook his head. "There will be no reason for you to stand in guard. We will be fine. You should get some rest as well." The male gently placed his cool hand on her tail as it landed in his lap. The soft fur made him smile before he dropped his hand to his side, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Er, sorry." The argonian said abruptly. "Mika, you should rest as well." He said trying to take his mind off of the fact that he just basically petted her tail.

Mika turned to gaze back at him as he insisted she rested, and after a moment of hesitation she put the tunic on then removed her armor carefully underneathe the frabic setting it aside. Done, the tunic engulfing her ending at her knees she crawled over to him. She was tired, and she had been trying to act like she wasn't. She just couldn't now not when he offered her a way out. "I'll apologize for this in the morning." She mumbled to him as she lifted his arm then snuggled into his side. Her tail curled around his waist as if it was a belt the tip twitching a little against his scales on the other side. A small yawn escaped her lips as her eyes started to droop into a half lidded position. Slowly she looked up at him from under her lashes," at least if something does come..it has to go through my body to touch yours. I got thick fur too." She said the last bit jokingly before falling silent listening to their breathing. Eventually a soft purr started up in her throat she didn't even try to stop it.

Without another moment, the argonian felt the soft fur of Mika gently laying on his smooth scales. He allowed her to lift his arm and gently curl up next to him and she curled deep into his side. For a moment he wasn't sure where to place his hand but he rested it gently on her side. A small smile seemed to appear on his scaley lips as she began to drift off into sleep. The males other hand gently rubbed the top side of her head, right between her two short ears. Hanzar shifted lightly to make himself more comfortable before he closed his eyes and began to fall asleep.

The male woke up calmly as Mika was still curled up beside and was basically cuddled into his lap. His hands were still resting on her gently but he kept his eyes closed, not entirely ready to start the next day.

Mika was brought from her sleep slowly, but she refused to open her eyes. She had remembered where she was, and even who she was snuggled against she just didn't want it to end. The warmth from their bodies was the most cozy feeling she ever had, but that probably was because she never done this with another. It felt wonderful, and she let out a soft purr against his chest letting it be known she was awake. She just wasn't going to move unless he wanted her too. She was kind of surprised he hadn't said something about her removing herself yet..maybe he was still asleep? In that case, get it while it lasted. She could still remember his fingers through her fur on the top if her head, and this made her tail sway up, and down his body happily before she stilled it. Bad tail, no waking up Hanzar not yet. Perfection. His muscular body was that single word as she felt his strength against her body. His scales were surprisingly like silk to her cheek fur. She rubbed her cheek against them before settling again.

Hanzar heard and felt the khajiit begin to pur once again which told him she was awake, though she didn't move either. He kept his eyes closed and didn't move to keep her from thinking that he was awake. Why didn't he move yet? Why didn't he tell her to get off? He held in a sigh before his mind began to churn. A khajiit and Argonian can never be together. It just won't work. Hanzar you've already been over this, if you care about her why does it matter? You shouldn't care what others think. I know but she shouldn't get her paws wrapped up in me, I'm no good for her. Well she doesn't seem to care Hanzar. This time a sigh escaped his mouth before he opened his fiery amber eyes and he gently began to rub the top of her head again; between her ears. His their hand stayed on her side as she laid there silently; aside from her pur.

Mika forced herself to stay relaxed as she realized he had awoken by a sigh coming from his lips. Was he going to push her away? She began to tense only to go still as his hand found her head again scratching it lightly. It felt so nice, and was so surprising she opened her eyes to look up at him. Her gaze was soft, and warm with a dash of curiosity in their depths. What was he thinking? What was she doing? She didn't know, and couldn't even answer herself. What she did know was she had a strong urge to do something ridiculous before they both came to their senses. If he wanted to push her away so be it, but she wouldn't be left with the what its - not after getting this close. Mind made up, and fully prepared to deal with the consequences Mika raised up a bit both hands lightly on his chest. She paused for just a moment searching his gaze before touching her lips to his with just enough pressure for it to be a bit past a peck. Her first kiss, and she had done the kissing. A small touch of pride coursed through her as well as something else she would ponder later. She pulled away ears swiveling back shyly as she waited his reaction.

Hanzar looked at her as she rose but he didn't say a word. He watched her as she pulled herself closer to him and then she kissed him. It took his a moment to realize what she was doing before he gently placed a hand on the side of her cheek and kissed her back. She pulled away after several moments but he wasn't sure what to say, or what to think. The males hand dropped as she sat in front of him and he blushed lightly. "What was that all about?" Hanzar asked with a grin though he lifted his arm and scratched the back of his head, trying to make things a little less awkward.

Mika couldn't believe it..he had kissed her back. Her cheek was warm from his hand still, and she felt her tail swaying a bit more energetically behind her. His question was ringing in her ears, but it took a moment for her to find her voice. "I..I just wanted to experience what it was like. I mean..I won't lie, and say my feelings for you haven't grown. They have, but.." She fell silent a pained expression coming over her features as she looked down focusing on his chest. Did she dare voice her fears? There was that constricting of her chest again a long with the fear. She slowly looked up at him his embarrassed demeanor making a tentative smile come back to her lips. It was so out of the normal for him. He was so in control most of the time. The strong brooding type, and realizing she wasn't the only one a bit off made her take a breath. "I don't expect you to be around forever." There she said it. She had admitted to it all putting it out there. Why did she suddenly feel so..vulnerable. She raised her chin up a bit to seem less so as she searched his gaze.

The male had a cheeky smile across his face as he placed his arm down to his side. "Well you experienced it. Did you like it?" Hanzar asked curiously before looking into her eyes. She did have feelings for him. "I-" the male didn't know how to word this. It was all too knew to him and was happening too quickly. "I do believe that.." he paused again, unsure if he should say it or not. "That, I have grown feelings for you as well." Hanzar said with another cheesy smile. "I know you only said to accompany you for a few days and you say I won't be here forever, but I could be. If you.. want me to be." His gaze fell to the floor as he didn't know what else to say or do. Their kiss was odd but he couldn't say that he disliked it.

Mika's eyes flashed back up to his face at his question. Did she like it? Kissing him? It was odd because they weren't exactly of the same species, but yes she did like it. It had warmed her, and even though she couldn't compare it to any previous moments as that had been her first.. she thought it had been perfect. She was going to tell him that too, but he continued on talking..stuttering almost. It was so unlike him that it made her feel a whole lot better. She wasn't the only one out of her element. At last when he fell silent she was staring at him wide eyed though he was looking at the ground. Her ears were perked, and her body was tense as a string on a harp. Was he making fun of her? No, he was serious..really serious. She wanted to speak, but only a small noise left her before suddenly her tail bushed out. She never felt such a happiness before it was like she was buzzing with energy. She finally took a breath to steady herself as she really didn't want to scare him away. Heck, she was scaring herself. "I think..I think I would love to have you with me forever. Well except for when we go on separate missions..but you can always return to me, and I you." She breathed reaching out to gently stroke his cheek with a finger. His scales were soft, and in her opinion though maybe she was biased now..it felt better then fur. She let out a soft hum of admiration before giving a soft laugh," I don't do well with water though." She smirked at him giving him a slow wink.
