"Can't be Santa..." mumbled Carter, hearing something on the roof. He went outside after hearing something yell and he saw Angelo. "You okay?" he asked.

Emmi fell silent and jumped on the couch. Emmi sighed and began watching TV.

Ella scratched Mary's head then set beds up for the dogs.

Dylan sat down and ate his toast.

Scriosta entered the fox enclosure and stretched with a yawn. She found a nice spot and laid down, soon asleep.

Lydia looked at Carter as he passed and she covered her red cheek. She then walked quickly to the enclosure that Alessa used to sleep in. She leaned against the door frame and sighed. The one animal she had a connection with was no longer living here. Even if she visited often it wouldn't be enough.

Blizzard looked at the colt with a yawn. "I-I should probably get back to my enclosure..." she neighed sadly.

Angelo | Male | Peryton | Form

Angelo continued to lay on the ground as he heard a door creak open, followed by the familiar voice of the vet speaking to him in that calm and slightly displeased manner it always had. "S-something like thatt," He wheezed, the parachute-like white sheet falling over his face as it twirled and fell to the ground.

Angelo struggled to regain his balance on his feet, inched towards Carter, his muscles once again spastic. What a graceful angel he was... with his harp around his antler and his sheet covered in a mucky substance. It'd need a wash, of course, only if they offered.

Henry finished eating and went to the window. He looked out and could see the shelter in the distance. "It's kinda weird being here and not there." he said.

"You're something from a dream." he said, looking at the angel-like qualities Angelo was showing, "You want me to clean that sheet?"

Lydia sighed and walked into Alessas old enclosure. She sat down inside it and crossed her legs. She placed her hands in her lap and looked down at the mm with a sad sigh. First Alessa leaves, then a hunter smacks her so hard that it leaves a bright red mark on her cheek which is still there, and then her memories start attacking her. Today's been great! Not.

" I know." Emmi sighed

"You guys wanna visit the center," Ella asked them ," I can drive too so Dylan can stay."

Alessa looked to Ella and nodded. "Sure." she said softly. "I'll go too." said Henry, skipping over to the door. The twins laid down and fell asleep with their pups.

The peryton sighed at his lighthearted joke "I wouldn't call it dreamy, per say." I responded, shaking himself off just before entering the building. He nodded at Carter's offer, passing him the sheet with bright eyes. "but i appreciate the offer, that'd be smashing."

After giving Carter the sheet, he began to explore again. His enclosure was empty as usual, but new smells filled the air: unfamiliar ones. How much had the family grown within the time of his departure? He wasn't sure. Perhaps he should keep to himself? He was that kind of person, unsure of how to present himself when confronted with a social endeavor.

Carter shrugged and took the sheet from Angelo. "Why does he have a sheet...?" he murmured, "And a harp? I know I shouldn't be questioning this when creatures we're told don't exist actually do exist, but this is still strange." He shrugged and went inside to wash the sheet.
