So... Just got obsessed with watching Yuri!!! on ice and wow, it's amazing. At first it didn't seem like my type of anime, but after episode one, I was hooked. X3

i was dreading yuri on ice at first. i just watched it because i was desperate for queer rep.
the episodes before the kiss made me so angry because of how much homoerotic subtext there was. i'm amazed they got engaged. this is media in conservative japan, that had trouble getting greenlit because of how gay it was. note: shounen ai is just considered hot and stuff but yoi isn;'t exactly UWU BOYS KISSING SO KAWIAII UGUUUUUUUUUUUU

WOW IT'S UNCOMFORTABLE
please if u r not good with scary things (especially body horror) do NOT READ. if you like horror anime/manga but don't know junji ito's stuff what are u doing tbh go read some of his short stories (u have to work ur way up with this guy,,don't go reading his full series right away)

Weird! I was just talking about Uzumaki and Junji Ito with my best friend last night! She gave me the latter to read because I never had before, but I remember reading Uzumaki in high school. Good times hahaha

They are seriously eerie though! I enjoy it a lot ~

i have a question for hunter x hunter fans (spoilers are included, this is after the chimera ant arc, episode 136-148 read at own risk lol)






So after the chimera ant arc, we find out that Killua actually has another younger sibling- however i am confused of their gender (Alluka). While Illumni refers to Alluka as a boy (younger brother), Killua refers to Alluka as a younger sister (She). I am confused in what Alluka's biological gender is (male or female). Thanks i just need a clarification. I am aware Something is also Alluka, however i do not think Something and Alluka have different genders...? Thanks! <3

please, do me a favour and read the manga before you continue any
further with the anime adaptation.
the anime is nothing in comparison to the manga and as someone who read the manga
before the anime came out, i can definitely say that the manga is a masterpiece
and is one of my favourite to date.

of course, you don't have to follow my advice but i can almost guarantee that the manga
executes the drama, suspense, emotion and character chemistry and development so
much better.
also in the anime, it feels like the writers are trying to make naho as dense and stupid
as they possibly can. in the manga, she really isn't that forced.
also suwa is better than everyone. suwa is best guy 10/10 never stop loving suwa he's the
greatest he needs a hug someone hug him please. wait, i'll do it.

the anime made Naho seem SO stupid and dumb
i was pulling my hair out watching her the entire time and
it was the most frustrating thing.
