Regina layed curled up sunning herself on top of the large rock face along Melemele Island's shores. Just below her, carved into the rock, was the cave she had called home for the past few weeks. It was an oddity for the female duel type to spend so long in a single location, but she didnt do so without good reason. At the moment traveling was imppossible and the beach cave served as a decent home until it was possible to travel again. Besides Melemele was a rather calm island despite the recent Ultra Beast appearances

yami began to follow midnight into the darker section of the forest, but heard a chirp and whipped around almost instantly. there was..... what pokemon was this? another legendary, yami guessed. whatever it was, it looked like it wanted their attention. "midnight! hey midnight!" he quickly ran up to the marshadow. "that pokemon chirped at us, i think." he pointed his wing at tapu lele.

Tapu Lele let out a small giggle to see the two Pokémon staring at them. She waved a little. "Hello!~" she looked at the Marshadow and Murkrow. Her curiosity bounced off her head. "Who are you? What are you doing? And..." she started at the Marshadow. "What Pokémon are you?" She asked. She kept the cute look on her face as she slowly floated a little closer to them.

midnight seemed amazed by this pokemon... who ever it was, it must be strong. it was probably a legendary too, and that meant yami would have to be careful not to make it angry. he took a small step backwards. "im yami, and this is midnight. we were just... going somewhere."

"Oh?" She blinked. "What Pokémon is Midnight? I've never seen such a thing. It looks like a ghost type." She held her hand on her shin, looking at the Pokémon curiously.

yami stood straight up when he heard midnight ask if it was an island guardian. could this pokemon actually be a guardian? they seemed to nice to fight anyone. he turned his head slightly towards midnight and whispered, "have you ever seen this pokemon before?"
