Heather rolled her pale olive eyes before focusing her attention back to the sanctuary. Cats began heading into the barn, one after another. She followed their lead, though remembered she was just with Yew and Lachlan. She tried to repeat the latter's name, but could never get it right. Once she had leapt onto the deteriorated fence, she readjusted herself so that she faced the toms.

"..Hey, cat. Yew, I mean." She called out, forgetting Yew's name for a second as she was more focused on getting inside before the sky went completely dark. "If you're so interested in that loner guy, why not just bring him into the sanctuary or something? Either way, I'm heading to the barn. It's nearly dark out here, and I don't want to be out once the temperature drops." She said before turning away and padding towards the barn with hurried steps. Heather hated the cold, and winter even more.

Goldenpaw's eyes widened and her cheeky grin faded away. He had discussed apprentice training? While the other stuff was interesting-- sure, but the mention of apprentice training perked her attention more. Turning back to Pinepaw, she poked him with her tail and grinned, "Hear that?" She asked, smirking, "Leopardstrike talked to Boulderstar about our training!" Turning back to Leopardstrike, Goldenpaw cocked her head and stepped closer, staring up at him with a hopeful grin, "So, what was this 'training' discussion?"

Cinderfoot eyes found it's way onto Simon for a moment and paused as her face swelled with happiness. How could he tell her anything about the process and the life of a warrior? He'd break her little heart. Biting his lip, he turned to face her and fiddled with the grass beneath his feet, "yeah, of course you can join the clan!" He exclaimed, letting his voice flatten for a moment before speaking up once more. "But uhm.. Are you sure you want to join?" He inquired, raising his pitch slightly at the end. Hopefully she wasn't too naive about this-- she wouldn't last long in this place.

"Yeah, I'm sure! Why.. why I'll be the best warrior in the clan!" Simon exclaimed, doing a small jump. "Wanna see my moves?" Without waiting for an answer, the young she-cat leaped up and twisted mid-air, landing with a thump on her back. She kicked out her legs and pinned her ears back, pretending to scratch at an enemy's belly. The blue she-cat clawed and hissed and spat at the air, still swiping her forepaws and raking her hindpaws. After demonstrating that skill, she jumped up and landed on all fours this time, pausing only a moment to shake out her pelt before lunging at an invisible enemy. She ducked and dodged imaginary paws before somewhat clumsily pretending to hook her claws around a hindleg, dragging her "enemy" down. It was harder just showing her moves without actually using them on someone, as she had no weight to hang on to. Simon got up and gave her chest fur a few licks before looking back up at Cinderfoot, beaming and waiting for him to give her his thoughts. "So.. What'd ya think? Am I a good fighter or what?" She young she-cat boasted, puffing out her chest.

Jake was curious to know what she was going to say. "What is it? Stopping in the middle of a sentence like that is like stopping in the middle of a thunderpath" Jake frowned. On accident, he almost said road instead of thunderpath. Thats right, clan cats don't know what a road is. How will I explain everything! Boats, roads, cars, how will I explain it all! Sparrowpaw ears lowered slightly, he was sad he couldn't become a warrior today. So that means my ceremony is delayed for a whole moon. Though he was happy for the sanctuary cats who would be joining, he felt a little weary about the idea. Nobody really go to know them. Even the ones who did know things a out the cats still don't know everything. They could be evil, weak, or be on the verge of death because of some sickness. He laid down where he was sitting and watched the cats around him. Sparrowpaw has been introverted ever since he got here. Everyone was interacting with the sanctuary cats and having a fun time; enjoying not having to worry about predators or hunting.

Watching with amusement beaming in his eyes, Cinderfoot pursed his lips but soon it melted into a smirk. She was a decent fighter, but he knew Boulderstar would demand her spend a long while training. Leopardstrike, the new deputy, would probably also pitch in and say she had a lot to learn besides fighting. "I suppose you are, but.. Uhm, there's a lot more to being a warrior than.. Fighting," he stated lamely, stepping up and trotting away from the fence. Indicating for her to follow with the flick of his ears, he glanced up and noted the bleeding sky. Pursing his lips, his eyes surfed his surroundings to look for Boulderstar.

Simon smiled and trotted off, following in suit behind Cinderfoot. "What else do I need to learn?" The young she-cat inquired, tail-tip twitching with excitement. She was going to join a clan! All her life, she'd heard these great stories about clan cats. Now, she was going to become one herself! The naive young loner hadn't a clue about the hardships of being a warrior, but she was too excited to think about that. Her long blue fur was still tangled and matted in clumps from her previous experience, she would have to fix that before she presented herself to the leader. "Why do you warriors have such weird names?" She asked, thinking about the warriors' names she'd heard in stories. Things like Badgerfoot, Redstar, Skywing, Eaglefeather, Stormlight: they all sounded so strange! Why couldn't they just have normal name like her? Would Simon have to give up her name? Aw, she liked her name. Maybe this leader-person would be kind and let her keep the name.

"Start a family..." she finished, her pelt feeling hot and feeling very embarrassed. Yarrowpelt wondered how Jake felt about that. Birchfang meowed, "No problem. I love being a help to anyone." He picked up some of the herbs from the pile carefully making sure he didn't break any of the precious herbs. He wasn't sure if he could help much, but if it's just a little bit then he was glad. He waited for Willowbreeze to get ready to return back.

Icystep returned back to where the cats are and held the sparrow in her mouth. She wasn't sure where to put the prey but she sat down with the prey. After awhile she got tired and set it down in front of her. She lied down with her head on her paws and closed her eyes.

Jake wasn't the least bit startled, in fact he was happy she asked that. He gave a flirtatious smile "If I said no I would be lying." He hoped that Yarrowpelt caught on that he was saying yes. "Well, I guess I have a question too. Will you be my mate" he asked without hesitating. It would be wrong to start a family with Yarrowpelt and not even be mates yet.
