Hi! I currently have an aloe vera, a group of hen and chicks, and a group of golden sedum that I care for ! Happy to find a place full of other plant lovers!

How strange, none of those options remind me of christmas at all. Really, the only plants that do are christmas trees and other pine-y things because we put those in vases and in wreaths. Plus I don't think I've seen holly or mistletoe outside of movies.

I suppose its all about culture really - i've personally
only seen mistletoe outside of movies once; and that
was being sold at a stall haha - but other than that I
have a Holly plant in my garden!

I know what you mean about the Pines though!
Poinsettias are sold around Christmas because they
flower in December same for the Christmas Cactus!
I am unsure of the relation of Ivy to Christmas
though haha - it was just something I read that said
the Ivy was associated with it
