i'm thinking about giving every person that does not win a comp 1.000 points as consolation prize. because the comps are random and so some people can win more times in a row because of luck and others can be unlucky winning nothing for a long time. but with a consolation prize everyone would at least get a little profit.

It would be very generous yes xD but how many points would you have to give out every adopt? And a person would only have to lose 5 adopts (which really isn't that much considering the amount of adopts out right now) to be able to afford a simple custom.
The value of points might go down with this change. I do believe it's very generous though c:

I think Neri would be applying this to the competitions as there are only three winners each time and it can take quite a while for the results to be announced. It might devalue points slightly, but I don't think by much.
