That looks like a question for your veterinarian.
Not clickbait... I think...

So I'm really worried about my cats right now. I'm not sure which one it is but I've been finding spots of blood on the tile floor every now and then near the litter box. Both cats are fixed so I do believe that it would cancel out the fact of one of them having a period (as the other cat we have is male) so I'm worried that it might be an infection or an irritation down under in her genitals. It's just recently started so I'm uncertain about it. But today I saw her licking constantly at her behind for a good few minutes as if trying to clean herself. As strange as it is, I've checked down there and it doesn't look as if she's been bleeding and it's pretty clean. That and she hasn't been acting strange. She has also recently had her vaccines done as well so I'm not sure if it's like an after effect or not. Also my parents say she's fine, but I'm still worried as she's my baby. But for all I know it could be the male. I don't know.

Has this happened to anyone's cats before? If so, any advice?

it might be something inside their intestines causing this. I wonder if cats get hemorrhoids.

it would be best to take both of them to the vet to get checked. Maybe they both have this problem, unfortunately we can't really help you much with this, as they'd need to be examined by a professional.

I was just asking if there might have been any links online that could possibly answer my question or if others have had similar experiences to a problem like this before. I know for a fact that advice from unprofessional's could become quite harmful to anyone, human or animal. But thank you anyway.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing if they get things like that.

And yes, I was planning on contacting my cats vets as soon as I can. Unfortunately there isn't an emergency clinic anywhere near me so I'll likely have to wait until after Christmas has passed. I am just hoping that it isn't anything serious.

Oh it's perfectly fine, please don't worry about it. It was just a misunderstanding and those kinds of things happen all the time. But I'm glad that everything is cleared up for you now. c:

And I hope that my cat will be okay as well.

agh, i'm so worried about my cat.

just this morning, she was playing with the toys she got for christmas and acting all playful and happy, but then a few hours later my mother noticed she was limping. she's been favouring her right paw ever since and i don't know what happened... i examined it and held it in my paw and it felt so limp and weak in my hand. she hates having her paws touched, so i was shocked when she didn't squirm upon my handling of the paw she was limping on. when i handled her other one she squiggled away but she seemed so fragile when i held the one she was favouring.

we're trying to book a veterinarian appointment asap, i just wish i knew what had caused the limp.
what a nice christmas present for her. v-v

I read somewhere that christmas trees (might just be pine trees idk) are poisonous to cats, it's got me kinda worried having 2 cats and a real tree. I've had cats for 15 years and I've never had a problem with my cats and christmas trees except for you know attacking ornaments and stuff. Should I be worried?

Pine is extremely toxic to cats. Also, if ingested, (of course) pine needles can puncture the cat's intestines. Try spraying lemon or cat repellent (yes it exists) on your tree.

This was my Christmas present 3 years ago. His name is snag, and he's a purebred Russian Blue, destined for the shows, but they found he had a crooked tail, so we got him :) he WAS the pick of the litter before the crook!!
