Introduction
This Roleplay is set in the present day world, mainly in the United States, and is based off of Rick Riordan’s book series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians and his sequel series, The Heroes of Olympus. It is recommended that you have read at least one of the books in either series or watched the movie to have basic knowledge of Riordan’s world. You can read below to get a brief summary or follow any of the links provided to get some information about how life is as a half god, half human.

In this RP, we will go according to the way Riordan has developed his world so far, so you may be missing some information or there may be spoilers. The actual characters in the books and movie will not be used at all, besides the immortal ones.

Quick Summary
For as long as you can remember, you’ve been an outcast in this world. You don’t fit in with people at school, or even your own family. Learning disabilities seem to follow you like the plague, and everybody you come into contact with either ends up hurt, missing or go crazy. Or worse, they could be after you.
Strange things do seem to happen quite often to you, and things just keep getting weirder when you discover a camp not far off from New York City. Whether you were led here by a family member, some strange creature, or you just found this place by yourself, Camp Half-Blood will change your life forever.

If you find yourself in Camp Half-Blood you are most definitely a being with mythological powers. Most likely, one of your parents is a god or goddess from the Greek or, possibly but not probably, Roman myths. Here you will learn to harness, use, and control your powers that have been passed on to you by your godly parent as well as train yourself in survival and warrior skills with your cabin mates. You may not think this will be useful, but when you have to save your best friend from the hands of a Minotaur you might find reconsider. In this world where myths clash with the modern age, prepare to go on quests and become on of the greatest warriors of all time, demi-god.

I have read all the rules on the RP board as well as RP guides, but I may sometimes do something wrong. Just kindly let me know and I will gladly apologize and rectify my mistake to the best of my capabilities. In return I will use my discretion with any issue.

1. Write in complete sentences with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Do not use chat-speak in the post (In OOC it's fine).
2. Try to write at least two good paragraphs each post. I understand the occasional writer’s block or being too busy to post much, but I will notice if you only post one-liners.
3. When speaking Out of Character (OOC) please use ((OOC)) or [OOC].
4. You will be polite at all times even if other people are not being polite. If I ask you to change something about your post please do not argue.
5. There is no character limit as everybody knows how much they can handle, but try to keep genders and the number of people in each cabin as equal as possible.
6. Battles and romance are encouraged but keep it PG-13.
7. If you have suggestions for prophecies or plot twists, PM me and we will discuss it.
8. If you would like to be anything besides a demi-god, PM me with a good argument for why you think you should make a satyr, nymph, roman demi-god, etc. as an active character and we may be able figure out how to make it work. However, make sure you are an active and/or a thorough RPer or I might be reluctant to say yes.
9. I will RP any NPC character such as Chiron when needed.
10. If you do not post for two weeks without letting me know why, I will assume you are dead and you will be removed from the RP.
11. You must be prepared to not always have your character win every battle, though they cannot die unless you allow others to kill them, they may have to take some time to heal using nectar and ambrosia. As well, using powers makes demi-gods lose their energy, feeling tired and drained, so keep that in mind.
12. Break a rule (mine or CS’s) and you receive a strike. Three strikes and you are banned for a week. Three more strikes and you are permanently banned from this RP.

To Become Head Counselor

Inside the RP News
02/03/11: Some demi-gods have dispersed from the campfire and are getting ready to sleep. Valerian, a daughter of the Roman god Aeolus (same name in Greek) has arrived at camp and several campers are gathered at the infirmary to find out why she is there. It is becoming slowly evident that she is not like the other demi-gods.
28/02/11: All the demi-gods except for Rain and Dresyn (they have some drama going on) are attending a campfire meeting where Ian and Ife Strae have been claimed as children of Zeus, and Chiron announced the first Capture the Flag game of the season. Make sure that your cabin (or head counselor if your cabin has one) decides on their alliances for the game and which color their team will be, Blue or Red.
22/02/11: It’s the beginning of the summer session at Camp Half-Blood, when most demi-gods train at camp or go on quests. New campers are getting acquainted with each other.

02/03/11: I will be converting all the character images to links so that it is easier for me to load this page with my old computer. As well, two new RPers have joined and Anomalystory added a Roman demi-god. I am working on a prophecy plot for this RP so if you have any suggestions at all send a PM my way. Also PM me to find out what it takes to have a Roman demi-god or other things (you name argue your point well and we can make anything work) as a character.

She always wanted to be up at night and was incredibly fond of the full moon. At age 8, Azura began to attract monsters. Her father quickly hurried her to Camp Halfblood, where he left her.
