She froxed when the leader was bringed back to the camp "...No Fernstar...why? First Snakemist, then Bramblewhisker and now Fernstar...What are we done to deserve this" she gived a quiet meowing. The skinny she-cat walked next to her fallen leader and touched her pelt "I am so sorry...I hope you are in peace now" she meowed at the dead cat.

She looked at the cats in distance, she didn't want to go any closer to them. Inside her heart she blamed herself to the two cats dead, even thought she could not do anything to save them. Glancing at her paws she just now noticed the open bleeding wound onto her front leg "..two cats died, and I got only a scratch" she meowed little angry to herself to be still live.

He was sitting at the clearning when the Fernstar patrol returned, halfly. He was kind of shock, even thought he didn't let it show, bitting his lips he looked at Blueheart 'Leader now huh? Congratulations' he open to say, but didn't. This was not the right time to challenge a fight, excpecially a cat who will become a leader to the clan.

She was looking at Moonflower and her newborn kit, when the patrol returned. she turned to see what was happened and frozen "What? Fernstar..." she yowled, making her way closer to the group of mourning cats and the fallen leader "Fernstar?..." she meowed but could not say anything else.

He gulps nervously, thinking about his words "Well, She is dead, means she is not coming back never, All of use will die someday sooner or later..." he answered to Otterkit's first question, but then frozed 'their momma?' he thought "NOO NOO, I was talking about Fernstar...Err...I do think that your mother is all fine, somewhere..." he meowed in panic.

Soon enough the leader felt fur on all sides of her body, and turned to look. Three cats had come down to guide her to StarClan. All three of them had glittering pelts, studded with stars, and they all looked young and well. She couldn't believe she was looking at these cats. Fernstar had never thought to see them again. "Bramblewhisker.. Snakemint.. And Morningdawn," The she cat smiled as they lead her up a starry pathway to a place she would rest in for generations.

"P-Please," Threeleg whispered, but his leader was already gone. With a tear-sodden face, the medicine cat pushed his nose into Fernstar's cold and wet fur, silently keeping a vigil. He could hear her voice ever so faintly, as if her spirit were talking, and thought he heard her say Snakemint. He did not look up, however, and kept the vigil.

Juniperfrost herd Wavekit's mewl and gave her a few comforting licks. "Oh no, little one. Your mother is not dead," She soothed. "She simply had some work to do, and it meant being away from camp for a long while. Don't worry, you will all see her again." The queen purred, settling down and collecting the kits close to her body. Technically what she had said was not false, as Gullstep I'll have joined StarClan if she'd died. That meant when it was the kits' turn to join the stars, they would see her there.

The tom turned his head and gave the ginger tabby a few comforting licks. "Don't worry, she'll be fine in StarClan. She will be remembered here forever." He whispered quietly in her ear before turning his head and burying his nose in the leader's fur, hoping and praying that StarClan would care for her for all the generations to come.

As Darkcloud headed to leave, he turned back to Rosedust. "We will need to work hard if we are to gain the trust of some of Fernstar's warriors. They have every right to be cautious, but we need to show them that we are thankful for everything they have done for us."

Morningdawn ran down a gathering path of stars with the two toms flanking her. She quickly collected the leader's spirit and smiled as the leader greeted her. "Hello Fernstar, these two have been waiting for you, and there are some cats in StarClan still waiting to see you again." The golden tabby meowed before she, Snakemint and Bramblewhisker lead the she cat back up the stars and towards StarClan's gateway.

Ashpaw smelt the death scent before Fernstar was carried into the camp. It filled his nostrils and chocked him. The apprentice shuffled into a corner, tears threatening to fall down his panicked face. Ashpaws breaths became shallow and fast and when he looked at Fernstars dying body all he could see was the day his mother died. "No..no...no" he muttered over and over like it would help his panicked state. He sat there, in the corner, with his eyes tightly closed.

The queen frowned at Owlkit's question. It was hard to answer it in a way they would understand. "If cats didn't die, it would be unhealthy for the Clan. We can only take so many cats in our camp. But don't worry, dear. When cats pass away their spirits are taken to a much better place than this, where prey runs into their paws and they don't need to be scared of intruders or other animals, and they can be young and healthy forever. This place is called StarClan. When you look up at night you can see the twinkling warriors of StarClan watching over you and the Clan. That's called Silverpelt. Don't fear death, Owlkit, because it most certainly is not the end. Fernstar will watch over us, just like every other cat who resides in the sky." The queen explained, giving each kit a soothing lick on the head.

She sat at vigil with the fallen leader "Do not fear my dear friend, soon we will see again" she meowed whispering the she-cat. Opening her eyes again she looked at the sad cats which centered the Fernstar body. Stooding up she leaved some base to others to have their vigils with Fernstar. Sighing she walked past Blueheart "Be brave... you will become a great leader and will make Fernstar very proud" she said to the tom, giving a warm smile.

She was being staying further to others, but when some cats beginned to leave the leaders body. She walked in, sitting down, touching the she-cats pelt "You was great cat Fernstar, we will not forget you never" she whispered, closing her eyes for a moment of silent.

He just wasen't a cat to cry over others, no matter how close they was to him. Others could see him as a coldhearted or heartless, but he was just too afraid to show his emotions to others. Instead of taking his vigil next to the leader he have it far away.

"Nobody knows for sure, but we can say it was probably the four very ancient cats: Thunder, Wind, River and Shadow. These cats were the first ever Clan cats, and they lived countless seasons ago in the most ancient of times." Then the fae began to explain what happened to evil cats. "Bad cats who have done wrong things to their Clanmates or another Clan go to a place called the Dark Forest. Here the sun does not shine, and fog constantly drifts along the ground. There is no starlight, and everything is dark and gloomy. Your pelt does not shine with stars but in fact is dulled by the fog. It is a very horrible place, and you do not want to go there. But I wouldnt fear, you are all good cats and will grow to be fine warriors."
