There are a lot of cats!!! I know I can't get a really shy one for a few reasons. Honey, my first cat is pretty big, and if my cat can't stand up to her, (of course I will go through all the procedures one would when introducing a new cat to the home) you know how cats are. Secondly, I have a big family, and most of my family don't respect cats as much as I do, with a couple exceptions. So I'm looking for social cats. Yes, I have a lot of cats to choose from. I will post pictures when I get a chance to narrow it down a little.

PLEASE HELP!!! Hi guys. I really, really, really love cats, but I don't have one, my parents aren't huge fans for a number of reasons which I can understand, but... Come on! Come on, seriously?! My neighbours recently found an abandoned cat in a box, and a few days later the young cat had 8 beautiful healthy kittens, and when they've had a trip to the vet and gotten old enough to walk and run, she's selling them for free, otherwise she'll put them up for adoption in some centre or something..
But I have a HUGE problem!!! I have a budgie who flies around indoors, and I want my cat to be an indoor cat! My father is concerned that the cat will eat the budgie...! Please help me!
I also need help with another thing: How do I convince my parents to get a cat?!?!?!?!?!?! Especially with a budgie!!!!
Please answer this question, I need lots of PM opinions. Thank you so much, it really means the world to me!
PM PLEASE!!!

Ug.
So I took Sadie to the vet, for the mess on her ears after 3 new spots/scabs appeared over night. Lets just say that despite the very good reviews on-line for this particular vet, I was less than impressed. The test came back inconclusive. He offered some treatment plans, but figuring (And talking to a good friend of mine who is a vet tech in a separate state) that it was, in fact ring worm, tried Lamisil which seems to be working -
However, she still also has a URI. It's not terrible, but I can tell she is congested. The vet pretty much said that if it wasn't affecting her eating (And it isn't, but that's a whole other issue) I shouldn't worry about it ... -Again, not super impressed- I will be finding a new vet, but do any thing I can do to help in the mean time? With the holidays right now, none of the regular vets offices are open, and I don't feel like spending three times as much money taking her to an emergency center, when it isn't life threatening.
Speaking of food though... This cat is the most food dependent/seeking cat I have ever owned. It's kind of crazy. She will eat anything, and would eat all day long if I let her. It's kind of getting to the point where it is beyond ridiculous. I love her to death, but it's driving me nuts.

So I'm really worried about my cats right now. I'm not sure which one it is but I've been finding spots of blood on the tile floor every now and then near the litter box. Both cats are fixed so I do believe that it would cancel out the fact of one of them having a period (as the other cat we have is male) so I'm worried that it might be an infection or an irritation down under in her genitals. It's just recently started so I'm uncertain about it. But today I saw her licking constantly at her behind for a good few minutes as if trying to clean herself. As strange as it is, I've checked down there and it doesn't look as if she's been bleeding and it's pretty clean. That and she hasn't been acting strange. She has also recently had her vaccines done as well so I'm not sure if it's like an after effect or not. Also my parents say she's fine, but I'm still worried as she's my baby. But for all I know it could be the male. I don't know.
Has this happened to anyone's cats before? If so, any advice?
