Hei! Jeg er en amerikaner. Jeg snakker lille norsk.
Question: when you are saying something is not, does "ikke" always come after what you are describing? This is a horribly phrased question, sorry.

Hei!! Meg heter er Syd, og jeg elsker Norsk!!
I'm learning Bokmål and I have a question for anybody that is fluent, because I am quite stumped. How do I conjugate verbs? I know that they don't change for each subject in a sentence, but i don't know how to conjugate for past and present tense. Thank you!!

Not always
Example:
"I am not done yet!" = "Jeg er ikke ferdig ennå!"
I am = Jeg er
Not = Ikke
Done= ferdig
Yet= ennå / enda
And when translating form "I talk a little bit norwegian" it should sound like "Jeg snakker litt norsk"
"Lille" is only used when describing an item, person or place.
"Litt" is used to describe the amount of something.
