"No... Fernstar..."She said and sat ,her head down. "It's not fair. Why is everyone dying!?" Berypaw whispered and tears began falling down her face.

(When will V2 be up? Cuz Fernstar is dying here. I am sad...I will miss her.)

Sorrelpaw's gaze misted over. "No, you're going to give me my warrior name. You will be there! You will..." Sorrelpaw tried to stop herself from sobbing the words. Everyone close to her died. Her father. Her mother. Her brother. Her clan. And now her mentor, too. I am cursed by starclan to lose everything and everyone I love. Why?! She buried her muzzle in Fernstar's pelt. "Please don't go! You have to be there! For me, and Berrypaw, and Sparrowpaw, and Dustpaw and Cloudpaw and Ashpaw, too!"

Blueheart felt his whole body tense at Darkpelts yell. Without even thinking his legs had started running towards the scene "This can't be happening" Me mumbeled while he ran towards Fernstar who was lying on the ground. Not the leader he respected so much, not the cat that had trusted him so much to become an deputy, he hadn't even learnt many ceremonies at all. "F-Fernstar" Blueheart cried once he was at the fallen she-cat. He laid down beside her giving her a careful nuzzle not even caring that she was wet, he didn't want to loose her yet, why hadn't she told the clan she was at her last life. "Fernstar you cant go" Blueheart wailed tears starting to roll down from his eyes. "You cant go" He repeated this time more quietley.

Dustpaw

Dustpaw stared in horror at the scene happening before him. How could this be possible. It had been such a calm day too, why today of all days. Why was starclan so angry at them, they had done nothing wrong. Or was this punishment from starclan because he and his friends had entered wrong territory. Hadn't the fox attack been punisment enough from starclan. Dustpaw was unable to move only his eyes starting to mist up.

Otterkit looked at the fallen leader in shock. All the cats running towards her made him scared and run to the nursery. "Why is Fernstar laying down?" Otterkit asked the queens worriedly.

Florian was abruptly woken up by a dark cat entering his teporary home. He hissed in suprise but he didn't even have time to reply before the cat had dissapeared again "Stray too close to what?" He meowed to himself emerging from his stump. The air felt so tense this morning. Florian could feel a scent he recognised in hte air, usually he felt it when the twolegs outside walked past with the creatures in a leash. He didn't know what they were called but they used to make a huge fuss when they saw him through the window. "Stupid creatures" Florian huffed wondering why the dark cat was so worried, the ones he had seen had always been stuck by the leash with their human. The big ones scared him a little but there were mostly only tiny ones that didn't seem too harming at all.

Wavekit looked at her brother. "Maybe she's tired? She was running around the territory. Daisytoes looks tired too. They need a nap." She said matter-of-factly. Wavekit's philosophy on life was a nap could fix anything.

Darkpelt looked really upset. "fernstar... please... you can't leave... " then in a whisper so quiet you couldn't hear it, he said, "don't go, I need you."

Fernstar felt her muzzle tug into a weak smile. She decided to speak with each cat she needed to individually, with the breath that was very quickly running out. Beginning with Sorrelpaw, she began. "I-I'm sorry, but I c.. Cannot. I will w-watch you from the.. Stars. You are a.. Fine young cat, S-Sorrelpaw." She finished, taking a moment to retrieve some air before continuing. "Threeleg, you were like.. A son to me. I watched you.. Grow, f-from the moment you were b-born. I knew you would do.. Great things for this Clan, and please continue to do so. M-Me and.. Snakemint.. Will continue to w-watch over you." The leader again caught her breath before looking to Blueheart. The words were getting quieter and shakier with each one she spoke. "B-Blueheart. My deputy.. I c-couldn't have been more proud of y-you," Fernstar paused slightly as she put her head down, exhaustion making it virtually impossible to keep it up. "Y-You did perfect.. As my deputy.. And I know you will lead th-this Clan and h-help it grow. T-Times have been... Hard these p-past few moons, but I know you will keep m-my Clan strong. I w-will... Watch over you, a-and everyone. I w-will be there to guide each of your... Pawsteps and I will h-help in any way I can. I couldn't have been prouder of any of y-you, and you are all f-fine cats." And last but not least, the exhausted leader addressed Darkpelt. "Darkpelt, thank you for b-bringing me back here... And allowing m-me to speak with my C-Clan for the l-last t-time." The grey tabby's flank heaved a few more times as she thought about the countless times her Clan had helped her. "Th-Thank you... All of y...you..." Then Fernstar's pelt heaved for the last time, and she passed on her way to the stars.

Ｔｈｒｅｅｌｅｇ
Threeleg stared into the leader's fern-green eyes as she spoke to him. Tears fell from his eyes as the leader's voice shook with every word. The tom had never seen her so weak. "F-Fernstar please.." He buried his face into her fur as she continued to talk with the other cats. Once she was finished, he looked back into her dull eyes. "Fernstar, no. Please hold on! Th-This isn't fair!" The medicine cat wailed like a helpless kit as he watched his leader's last life pass before his eyes. "Please don't do this! Don't!" Threeleg unsheathed his claws and dug them into the ground as his leader's last life left her body.

Ｊｕｎｉｐｅｒｆｒｏｓｔ
The pregnant queen made her way over to the leader as quickly as possible with her large belly, standing beside Blueheart as the leader spoke with her most treasured cats in turn. "F-Fernstar.." Juniperfrost began, sitting down as tears gathered in her eyes. It was all too sudden, CloverClan had gone through too much. The death of their beloved leader would damage them for seasons to come. Grief stabbed at her heart as she saw the pain in Threeleg's eyes. She had never seen the medicine cat look so broken, not since Snakemint's death. "Sh-She was such a great cat.."

Ｓｐａｒｒｏｗｐａｗ
The tom dashed across to Sorrelpaw at Berrypaw's side, their pelts brushing. "Sorrelpaw! It's alright." He assured the younger apprentice as he watched the leader speak with every cat. Tears filled his eyes as he watched the leader, his tail rested on Sorrelpaw's shoulder. He hadn't known that Fernstar was already on his last life.. Why hadn't he known?

As Darkcloud headed to leave, he turned back to Rosedust. "We will need to work hard if we are to gain the trust of some of Fernstar's warriors. They have every right to be cautious, but we need to show them that we are thankful for everything they have done for us."

Ｍｏｒｎｉｎｇｄａｗｎ
Morningdawn couldn't help but grieve as she watched the entire Clan gather around Fernstar. The kits were so confused, the warriors were so upset and the apprentices were so shocked. Upon hearing two familiar voices, one she often heard, the StarClan fae stood up and ran towards them. "Nightlight! I saw what happened!" The old warrior cried as tears began to roll down her cheeks. "Y-You must be Daisytoes. Goodness, you were so young!" The golden tabby she cat knew it had been Daisytoes' destiny to die, but she was far too young in Morningdawn's opinion.

{I wasn't happy with the coding I had for version two before so I have started it again. It should be ready in time though, so I wouldn't worry about it. I would like to tell you all that in version two Fernstar will still be used as a StarClan cat who often visits her Clan, but she won't be used all the time. I'm also planning on using Morningdawn a lot more in version two, so I might make up a quick form for her and put it on my forms post on the discussion thread.}

Daisytoes hesitated, then nodded slowly. "So was Fernstar..." She glanced back at the way she had come, before looking to Morningdawn. She had no idea who this new cat was, but she seemed friendly enough. "Who are you?" With a pang of sadness, Daisytoes realized that she would probably be asking that a lot in near future.

Sorrelpaw turned away, unable to look at her mentor as she exhaled for the last time. Her ears flattened, and she squeezed her eyes shut. The apprentice couldn't help but agree with Threeleg's wails. It isn't fair. He's right. Why.. why couldn't they take any other cat. Any other cat except her! Sorrelpaw knew it was a horrible thing to wish, but she couldn't help but be angered at Starclan.

ooc: I will also be using Daisytoes as a starclan cat when needed. Also, I have finished up the coding for stoneclan v.2, and the discussion thread is open for forms if anyone wants to join.

"morningdawn." nightlight acknowledged. "there has been many deaths in cloverclan recently. " she commented. "i sometimes doubt what they'll do without fernstar. but then i see blueheart, bluestar soon, and i know they'll be fine. do you ever feel like that?"

(rip fernstar i just realised darkpelt would only be a moon older than her... they'd have grown up together, )

darkpelt sighed, knowing she was gone. he remembered all the fun they'd had as kits... his own apprentice ceremony... hers... when fernstar had been appointed deputy... he remembered it all so clearly. he knew he wouldn't forget her.

(cliffclan will be staying v.1, and yes, i will be using nightlight a lot more.)
