On the base of a snowy mountain lives a group of wild cats. This
group, known as Stoneclan, has lived on the mountain for as long as any-
cat can remember. However, tragedies occurring 7 moons prior have
caused many interruptions to normal clan life. After the loss of two clan
deputies in a row, the already mentally fragile Puddlestar lost his mind
when the news of Fernstar of Cloverclan's death reached his camp. His
spiraling condition eventually forced him to step down from his position
as leader of Stoneclan, which he had held for 24 moons. Now, Leopard-
star has taken over the clan. Will they be able to adjust to the sudden
shift in leadership, or will the group fall apart as if the glue bonding
them together had burst?

He grew up has a rouge but was accepted into the clan after he had chased off a fox, saving three kits and a pregnant queen from death in which he had received the scar on his stomach. Though many didn't like him and many scared of him because of his appearance and his personality though he wouldn't ever hurt them. He made his way to the deputy spot after being in the clan since he was 26 moons old.

Average warrior backstory. Became leader when Hazelstar was killed by a dog.
After the death of his deputy, Graniteslip, he became increasingly distressed. Then, his new deputy, Greywing, was killed on the mountain. He began 'seeing' the two around camp, and having conversations with them, even though they weren't really there. When the news of Fernstar of Cloverclan's death reached him, it pushed him over the edge. Now he is very much insane.

ＢＡＣＫＳＴＯＲＹ
Cerise was born a show cat to a proficient breeder. Her first few moons of life were pampered and simple. However, her strict father and her pompous mother wanted Cerise to become a show cat like them. Her siblings pressured her to be neater and act more sophisticated than Cerise was comfortable. Eventually, the fed up shecat scratched her handler, causing her to be sent to a shelter for readoption or death. Cerise managed to get adopted, but sprang from her new home first chance, eventually ending up in Stoneclan's mountain. She makes her home under a dead log near the stream, about 3/4s the way between camp and the border.

As soon as she heard of healing she knew it was for her. As a kit, she could hardly stay away from all the plants. The medicine cat, Bluesong, noticed this, and took her as an apprentice. Eveningleaf became very skilled in her knowledge, and all the clan respects her for this. After Bluesong died, Eveningleaf took over the job. During a clan meeting, she called to the clan's attention the fact of Puddlestar's insanity, and managed to convince the tom to step down from his position.
