I've been cruising the forums searching for the two new URs. As usual, the worst time of the year for me.

Ended up picking up another Zebra instead.



Nettles here has officially decided it for me.

I'm going to spend the next little while putting the pets from my (thanks to the cinnamon rolls and zonkey) no longer complete collection into their respective hoards and collections.

Everything else... I dunno what I'm gonna do with it all. Probably nothing. As I've had these pets for up to 7 years and am kind of attached to them.

But at least I'll be concentrating on my hoards instead of all this other nonsense.

Welcome Pink Cookie Princess number 12, Vixumya the Masteralchemist of the royal court.
I also redid most of the Cookie Dressups, to match the royal story better.





Plus I finished my Fungus Woods hoard, I reached my goal of 50 b-wolves c:




And I started a new hoard of this outcome. I always loved the design and especially their eye color!
I already have 10 of these, goal is 25.

I tried last year to collect every 2015 pet, but I never really enjoyed it. I decided to stick to hoarding and only collecting the pets I really like c:

I feel your pain. I've been dismantling my incomplete collection since yesterday, and am debating just giving up on my collection altogether and just keeping my lists and some rares I really like, then making everything else a hoard. It's far too stressful to try and get a complete collection...going through all my groups and just purging things has been so satisfying for some reason. I originally was just going to keep any pets I liked for my collections instead of ALL the uncommons and rares I was originally trying to complete on CS...but that still seems wrong to me. I think all I want to do is hoard and try and get the last few list pets I like.

Plus if I dismantle EVERYTHING and just hoard, so many of my rares that I love could become rare hoards, as I'd finally have the fodder for them...decisions, decisions.

I've been struggling with that for years. I cannot decide whether I should keep all of the pets that I like for my collection or whether I should only to keep a handful of very special pets.

Then there is the sheer quantity of hoards that I have. Should I dismantle most of them and keep only the ones that are most precious to me? Or should I keep hoarding to the extent I have been for the past five years?

I feel great and completely satisfied whenever I decide to let go of some pets (in real life I neither collect nor hoard anything), but I have also grown attached to my hoards, so letting go is becoming increasingly difficult ...

See! That's just it though. I can't just let go of them. I have so many pets in my completed collection that I adore. For sentimental reasons. And there are others that i've just has forever. I sit and look at a certain pet and remember dressing it up. And it just seems wrong to get rid of it. It's like... we've been through so much together these past seven years. D:

It's like being at the top. Nowhere to go but down.

That is exactly how I felt, 'Possum. Everything was like a chore, and I didn't enjoy trading for most of my missed outcomes because I often just didn't like the pet. So when someone would offer me a choice between a missed outcome for some of my fodder or some hoard pets, I'd inevitably choose the hoards. I'm hoping this purge and re-structure of my account makes CS more fun for me again.

On a more on-topic note, I've added the three uncommon outcomes of the hyenas to my "Be Prepared" hoard!

Though I only have one of the white ones, so I gotta start hunting more frequently for them. I also upped my goal to 500 because why not?

The next thing I've done is put every non-rare pet from my collection that I was also hoarding into that hoard group. If I hoard it, they will all be in the same group from now on unless they're rare. For some reason I just like having one rare in my hoards and one in my collection. Maybe that'll change later though, I'm not sure...I might prefer it if my collection were all my non-hoards.
