Heather looked quite surprised, Caleb had never mentioned he was expecting a visitor, or that he even had a daughter. Of course that wasn't strange, she didn't need to know everything. Heather's smile brightened, extending her hand to Julia. "Oh, how wonderful! It's a pleasure to meet you, Julia." She said excitedly, giving her a welcoming smile. "Are you going to be living here?" She asked out of pure curiosity. Was Julia to become a musher? How exciting! Hopefully they didn't think she was being too nosy.

Winter relaxed at Caleb's words. Very much relieved. A friend of her musher's couldn't be dangerous, or unfriendly. She knew she could trust Julia, and her tail started wagging. She slowly sat down, still looking at the person who had just arrived. She seems very nice. She thought, letting out a happy sigh.

Cedar's ears immediately pricked up, seeing the bright smile light up the wolfdog's face. He was most surprised, definitely hadn't been expecting such a positive response. He gave her a beaming grin in return, letting out a relived sigh. "I was worried I was the last dog you'd want to see..." He began slowly, starting to wag his tail. "Well, good morning." The brute stepped closer, sitting down right in front of the fae. "Are you ok?" He suddenly questioned, in a concerned and caring tone. She didn't look alright, and the food bowl was still full to the brim. He was truly worried about her. Though he couldn't deny she deserved it, that didn't mean he wanted this punishment to be carried out. "I....I'm really sorry this happened, Adsila." He truly meant it. His words were sincere. He glanced behind, locking his gray orbs on Julia. "I wonder who she is." He mused to himself.

She nodded to what Ballad was saying and she glanced at Cedar talking to Adsila, she seems to be feeling a tad bit better from the looks of it, she thought while giving a short wag. She saw Heather and didn't know her either, wow a lot of people and dogs I need to meet. Kandy lifted herself, making her stand tall as she stood on her hind legs to meet Heather. She sniffed her face and barked happily. She then began lapping at Heather's face as of form of saying hi. Her tail wagged as a small crowd began to gather, which got Kandy a bit excited. Soon she noticed another dog, Winter. So many dogs. She walked over to her and sat, "Hi, I'm Kandy, don't think I've ever met you before, you are?" She asked trying to strike up a conversation to get to know her.

Winter's gaze turned as she heard somebody speak to her, an unfamiliar voice she had never heard. "Oh, hello." She said calmly, with a smile. "You must be...Adsila's replacement." Her voice was cold when she spoke the wolfdog's name. Then her tone softened. "My name is Winter, pleased to meet you Kandy. Caleb is my musher." She rose to her feet, giving her pelt a quick shake.

Mine Ballad, Back off Adsila growled with narrowed eyes at Ballad, she had never been this jealous before, but she had to make sure the dogs still didn't see her as weak, but intimidating. Hopefully he would move away from her human. Quickly snapping her head back to Cedar with a tilted head her angry look turned to serene once she caught him in her sights. Her ears flattened backward while still glancing over to Julia every once in a while. At the mention of her disliking him she shook her head with a concerned look. " Cedar I love your company, you were my first friend once I arrived. Even if you despise me I will always be your friend " she spoke clearly in a proud tone to the brute, he was one of the few canines she cared for. At his apology she gave him a stern look, she deserved it. Her head turned back to Julia at the mention of her. " You can sense the connection, they are family. She's great isn't she " the fae trailed of as she admired the human girl. Her facial expressions urged the female to come closer.

Mallory saw a new girl come into the cabin, and was talking to Caleb. Out of habit, she walked over and sat by Caleb's feet, her tag wagging. She nosed the air near the girl and looked up, woofing with happiness to meet this girl.

Julia sighed, "I've dealt with wild mustangs. I'm sure I could help one dog- we had plenty at the stables.." She informed him- her tone stubborn. Though her nutural face turned to a smile as heather walked over. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Heather." She grinned, "Yes, I'll be living with my father, Probably for a few years or so." She gave a quiet laugh as more dogs approached, petting all of them in a friendly manner. Of course, letting them inspect her hands for trust first. "Mind if we get my bags inside? Not to be rude or anything, I just want to make sure I have everything with me." She took one of the suitcases by the handle, petting the dogs one last time before shooing them away slightly so they wouldn't get trampled. Her glance caught the dog house again, though. She saw the white mutt staring at her with interest. She locked eyes with the god for a few moments, before a smile appeared on her face. her eyes showed an 'I'll be back' look, Before turning back around to take her stuff inside.

Caleb grabbed the bags, "Julia, she isn't a stable dog, and dogs aren't horses, keep away from her, she is dangerous to the other dogs and will hurt them." he said as he looked at her. "She is Sally's dog anyway, so not mine, and you don't mess with other musher's dogs." he told her as they went into the cabin and he lead her into a room so that they could get her settled into the room she'd be staying in.

Ballad whined as he was shooed off, he watched her, but he remained close by her side, not liking the looks Adsila had given him. He followed as Caleb picked up her bags and headed in after them, keeping out of the way so he wouldn't get underfoot.

After she had said goodnight to Elliot she had went in to sleep in the warmth of the cabin, plus she wanted to see Logan, she had to admit, she was being weak. She was curled up by the fireplace, happily asleep until Caleb woke her up by moving. She blinked a few times and looked around, yawning happily as she slowly stood, stretching out as she did so. She looked around for Logan and Alicide curiously, wondering where they were.

Kandy nodded and moved out the way as Julia shooed us away. Her tail thumped on the ground as she began to speak, "You might already know Sally is my musher if I replaced.... Adsila, anyways I'm in the middle". She sort of felt uncomfortable speaking Adsila's name for an unknown reason. She glanced back at Julia for a few moments before looking back at Winter. "Do we have any upcoming races.... or anything special?" She asked unsure of what to talk about. The fae stood for a few seconds to brush of any snow then sat comfortably.

Heather gave Kandy an affectionate pat on the head. "Hey sweetie, you must be Sally's new middle dog." She giggled, looking back at Julia and Caleb. "Cool! Well, I'll be leaving you two, so you can get settled Julia. Goodbye!" She called, waving her hand with a smile. She stepped down the porch stairs, taking large strides over the snow, heading over to Sally's. She needed to talk with her. Arriving at the door, she knocked loudly. "Sal? It's Heather."

Cedar watched curiously, the wolfdog seemed to be overprotective of Caleb's obvious relative. He flicked his ears in interest, but decided against making a remark about it. He was touched by her words, and shook his head with a sigh. "I feel the same, about you Adsila. And of course I don't despise you. I'm truly sorry if I made you feel that way. I know I sounded harsh...I was scared, to be honest. I was worried Bella would be proven right, about wolfdogs. You can't be a savage killer. I didn't want you to become something I know you're not. That wasn't the real Adsila that murdered Bullet, I just know it." He took a deep breath. "I know you. Can't you tell me why?" He pleaded, wanting to find the reason of her outburst. Suddenly he got the strange feeling they were being watched, and glanced back, his gray eyes locking with his former mate's. "Bella." He whispered, staring at her for what felt like an eternity, but was only a few seconds. He then focused back on the wolfdog, with a sigh.

"I don't have anything against wolfdog's, trust me..but I just don't understand her." Winter's gaze dropped down to her paws. The half she-wolf's behavior had actually frightened her. She was deathly afraid that the same thing would happen to Kavik. Worried he would turn into something like that. Kavik would never hurt you. She told herself firmly.
